I’m glad people are bringing up the bullying and psychological abuse. I don’t remember any pervy coaches when I was doing gymnastics, either, but I remember a lot of instances of being bullied and screamed at and deliberately humiliated in front of my peers. And I was never anywhere near being a competitive gymnast.

There’s truth to that, but you also have to consider the fact that cheating is not just sex. Giving excessive time and/or emotional connection to another woman and shutting his wife out, that’s kind of cheating on your marriage, too.

Even while he was putting up with those things and seeming to care for you, he was lying to you the whole time, and lying to his wife, and may even have other women he’s stringing along the same way. I think the guy he was at the very end is who he really is. Sorry, I’ve just been dealing with the same type of thing,

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Have you ever read about narcissistic personality disorder and narcissistic abuse? Your story seems pretty classic for that, especially the complete discard at the end. I’ve been reading everything I can about it because I only recently realized I have a narcisstic parent, and

Yeah, I just finished watching the whole series again, so this is hitting kind of hard.

Yep, my first thought. This will not work if your partner is a narcissistic abuser who never takes responsibility, never acknowledges your emotions, and never gives space to what your feeling. It may help you to distance yourself and stop supplying their malignant ego, but it’s better just break away completely.

The Bissell 9595A Vacuum with OnePass - Corded. I got it from Amazon:

Yes, it actually set up the final episode in that because of the explosion at the very end the message the alternate universe wraith was sending to the Pegasus galaxy got shunted into the main universe, leading to the wraith there heading to earth and Atlantis having to stop them.

I really liked it, but I was already old and cynical and jaded and full of “not everyone gets a happy ending” grumpiness when I saw it. I also really like alternate universe/time travel/fractured timeline stores, so Vegas was a comfortable fit for me.

I had the exact same experience with the Dyson Animal. I kept thinking it must be working better than it seemed to, because it’s a Dyson and I spent so much money on it. Then I finally gave up and bought a $75 Bissell and was amazed and thoroughly pissed at how much dust and hair the Bissell picked up the first time I

I actually really like the Bookerly font that they specifically designed for the Kindle/e-readers, though Baskerville is a close second.

Zero income tax, higher sales tax and really high property taxes. But what does any of that have to with regulations, especially on private property?

I had a cat like that. His favorites were McDonald’s french fries and Cheetos. Weird, but kind of fun, like we could chill out with junk food together.

I drove a small Toyota truck in the 90s that had a vinyl floor. It was great. I usualy just vacuumed it, but would occasionally just get some paper towels and an all-purpose cleaner spray and that floor would be so clean and shiny.

Yeah! Just like when I’m reading in the car. I’m sure it will bring similar experiences of nausea/migraine.

If that happens, then you will have a very valid point about merit. But excellence and merit in gymnastics and sports in general is a bit more objective than, say, acting. It’s just that for me, as someone who has enjoyed watching gymnastics at the Olympics since I was a little girl in the 1970's, my first thought on

I don’t think this comment or any of the comments celebrating the diversity of this team are implying in any way that it’s not based on merit. Of course they all got on the team on merit. And it’s a beautifully diverse team. Historically, gymnastics has not been so diverse, I think more for socioeconomic reasons than

So much this. I changed jobs and now work at home, and I earn the same or less than I used to, but I’m saving up to $200 a month on gas, and probably at least that much on food/wardrobe costs, not to mention the obligatory social events that often end up costing you something. And I have the time/flexibility to do all

Big box of fur

That’s mine, too. I mainly just remember my parents being really pissed off at President Nixon, not really any details.
