I totes agree except I thought the kiss at the end was really forced and artificial. Especially the music. I am totally on board with their dating, but that kiss felt fake and I was certain it would be revealed as someone’s fantasy - or poignantly, somehow revealed that they had both fantasized it.

Respectfully, everyone with a OTP inclined mind, this is a wonderful show for you in that it plays with that ball, but a terrible show for you in that the truest relationship in it is family, and family is a series of choices and happenstance, and that’s closer to actual reality (while still being a lighter, airier

This was a C episode of an excellent show. Some of the cinematography felt beginner level. A lot of lines felt so first-drafty, I was sneezing at them. I loved the general idea and direction, and about half of the specifics, but in a lot of ways it was like, a fan produced episode. It went through a lot of what

No opening credits/theme here either. How many times has a show aired without even a reference to the opening credits or a title or anything? I feel like that wasn’t even legal or possible according to some basic physical laws until the very recent past.

Oo! Coming when? I hope it’s soon! Do you suppose it’s soon?

On behalf of the hundreds of us who aren’t going to bother commenting (or who don’t have an account): Same.

Watching the show for the first time. Just got spoiled by this page on Sarah Lynn’s death. Kinda seriously sad about that. Sounds like it could have been affecting.

what is it with eating the cats?

The turning up the heat thing lost me a little. First of all, those heaters don’t do that... Second, if they could go higher, why didn’t they try that in the first place? And third, the old power in that old cabin could never have supported that many Watts. Even one of those heaters would probably have blown an old

Hi, I’m from the future. Just watched the whole season, took it Mrs. Butterworth’s slow and enjoyed it. This might be obvious, but since nobody else said it: “Every Breath You Take” is wonderfully creepy AND romantic for Mike and El, since El has supernatural powers of sight. And there’s the notion that they are

Like a restaurant or job candidate fresh from my questionably credentialed boarding school, I cannot recommend this enough.

Speaking as someone whose father used that exact word in that exact year in that exact context, it was perfect. Also, even if the character isn’t gay, it’s a good nuance that brings us back to his strange relationship with boys/gay connotation.

So I read a lot of comments but not all of them. Here’s how I think it should have gone down. It’s not that they dared step into the Repo Man/Garbage Pail Kids movie/Max Hedroom universe. It’s that they didn’t go far ENOUGH. The only way to take these characters and situations is as somewhat ironic, and

Yeah, I really hope they were going to run it through some kind of res-lowerer at the end but didn’t (yet). Or maybe the theory is it doesn’t matter if it’s in the background and slightly out of focus!

UGH. I wrote up a list of all the characters and plotlines having to do with ghosts and then I hit some key or other and Kinja ditched the whole thing. Short version, this is the Hallowe’en episode, everything’s about ghosts/hauntings/death. My post ghost’s best line had to do with Rafael haunting his old haunt as

So ok this is really nerdy, but I mean, why not. I used to have tape recorders like that. If the purse was thin enough or open a little, the idea that the AGC could grab the voice super clearly is actually pretty possible. (What bothered me was the lack of rewinding, but whatever.)

To be fair, it seems obvious that it’s from the Upside-Down because it’s got creepy, uncanny CGI. If it were as I assume it’s written in the script, a realistic but unfamiliar little pollywog thing, I don’t think we would expect them to think that.

Also, the trope of the kids falling in love with a cute thing that

Regardless, though, Eleven’s cool because she’s oddly wise. This was so telegraphed, it would have been much much more wonderful if she were the Valentine Michael Smith style of alien who didn’t waste time with stupid jealousy, when there are much stranger things in the world to worry about.

I enjoyed Freaks and Geeks but this feels like my childhood, too. #1971 #sorryaboutthecreaking

Not all Klingons know that they are Cylons. I mean Klingons.
