I hope there is a direct translation in another country that translate the game as “Overly Concerned Sam” or “ Sincere Sam”.

Kind of a weird reason, I mean they aren’t translating the main title either.

Yeah, it does seem weird. If it doesn’t translate, why not just retitle it where it makes sense? Isn’t that what they’ve been doing with games and movies for years?

Honestly, none of those explanations make much sense to me. The official one though particularly bemuses me, given that complaint could be applied to idiomatic language in general.
