Yes. Its wired directly to the router. Really important to hardwire the desktop or it will become a bottleneck. I also tried wireless Link connections for a while with wireless AC but saw too much hitching. All of that went away when I ugraded my rig and wired everything. Even racing games work fine.

Stances like this and the advent of the steam link are why I’ve been leaning more into pc gaming lately. I like knowing I can play games like Tie Fighter or Prey today and 10 years from now without hitting up a flea market.
