Nice. I’m “patiently” waiting for the supercharger kit for the 2GR swap to get finished. Meantime, here’s my ‘93.

Awesome. Everything you pointed out is the basis of my response.

I’m struggling to think of a service that requires an engine pull. Some things take a bit more dexterity to do in the car, and some things are easier with the engine out, but timing belt, clutch, HFH, HFHoE... all doable while in the car.

This is a post full of facts. How rare on the internets these days. +1

While I agree that most are in much better condition, I’m not sure I’ve seen an import that was cheaper than a comparable USDM car. That being said, the only prices I’ve seen for JDM import MR2s were from importers that were asking retail. I have not looked into the cost of importing one myself.

Had so many opportunities to say no, but bought it anyway.

With a car like this, NPoCP doesn’t really matter.

Details omitted for brevity...

I get what you’re after now. It’s like buying an Aston Martin with Ford Taurus switches.

Came here to see Japanese mountains drifting. All I see is some smoking cars. I'll be back after my coffee.

I have the Taurus SHO. It is the same drivetrain that appears in the Ecoboost Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKS/MKT Ecoboost.

Dumb question here... forgive my ignorance.

For future reference, the wheel cover on the trailer will pivot out of the way. There’s a couple rubber straps that hold it in place, and even a step to use once you get it down.

Emartoo!! Took this picture in my front yard today.

Any RX350 with the 3.5L 2GR-FE is okay in my book... especially if hit hard enough from behind to total it.

I was momentarily terrified that the Harlem Shake was back.
