Well, it did fix something the last firmware update broke: PS4 physical games that have a PS5 upgrade no longer install the PS4 version if a PS5 version is installed.

This was, by far, the most click bait-y and unnecessary use of both the time of the staff and the reader. Just absolutely ridiculous. If Kotaku wants to write this kinda stuff, it’d be nice if it was marked as satire.

Congrats, you managed to write a 383 word summary of a 7 word update. Did you lose bet or something?

Theres no exclusivity far as I can tell. For example when I enter my auto shop I have the option to enter mine or another player’s, despite them being the same property. They’re just different menu options and instanced.

I, like you have every thing in the game and man does it get boring w/ out tings to work towards. I still periodically log in when there are 2x bunker weeks so I can grind in solo lobbies to keep the bubbly flowing. I have 50mil after buying the tuner garage and honestly have nothing else to buy. I’m really hoping the

Man, I wish you could sell off properties you don’t want anymore. I don’t do anything with my yacht, bunker, or motorcycle club (I don't play in public lobbies, meaning I can't do any of the money generating activities) I would love to sell those and be rid of them.

as a fellow member of the elite upper class, I find it hard to be incentivized to do anything. Like you, I haven’t touched my yacht in a while, i handle my bunker from the arcade, and since free snacks are a part of all properties now it seems, i rarely visit my highrise office in the center of Downtown LS, filling my

It’s just a name of a sports team, that will sooner or later be sold to another city/state/corporation. And nobody remembers what Manor F1 team was. Admittedly there are rare exceptions, but this is absolutely insignificant.

Cheating is bad, if people cheat, that’s scummy and bad karma but all this back and forth accusations seems like a really REALLY low stakes and slightly embarrassing soap opera.

I don’t follow eSports at all but I feel like in reports like this, the onus is on the accuser to prove such a statement and they are the one’s who should be analyzed by the reporter, not the accused. Like, why is a pro gamer being held to such a scrutiny to defend himself because some other guy on the internet

This alone makes me want to re-purchase the game and try it again. I had traded it in because I got sick of the weapon durability system, but if I can largely do away with that, that’s tempting.

This whole thread makes me want to re-watch the movie for the millionth time. One of only a couple films for which I’ve purchased updated media formats over the years.

When I was watching this trailer with my son, he legitimately asked me afterwards, “Are they going to make a game about it?”

Okay, this looks like it might actually be pretty rad. Though I shudder to think about the release of the inevitable “Mortal Kombat: The Game: The Movie: The Game” 🤣

You know what happens when you assume.

My cat has learned the sound of the PS4 beep and runs to see if I’m putting a disc in (he likes to watch it “eat” the disc). I can’t take that away from him when I upgrade he’s too cute.

What other pieces of media are interactive? That’s really the main difference here. There are literally infinite number of ways people can play most games. Maybe a speedrunner blazes through one game in 30 minutes. Another streamer might die on the first level in that same amount of time. Same game, different content,

I think I’m sorta on the side of the bad hot take. Or I can at least see the reasoning.

What other pieces of media can someone simply stream themselves enjoying without paying a license. If people are really there to see the streamer, then just don’t let streamers have the game feed as more than 80% of the screen or

He’s suggesting that streams should need a license to stream games to the public. This is how music works, if you want to play music for an audience (be it a bar, a movie/tv show, youtube) you need to have a license (which is separate from owning the CD, record, mp3) to “perform” it.

There was a lot of cool stuff in those old expansions. It’s a bummer that it’s considered second tier now.
