Yeah, questioning someone’s fandom of Marussia or Mercedes has nothing to do with gender. For that matter, many of the arguments she gets into are all just part of the fun of racing, not necessarily because she’s a female.

When I told men I was a Marussia fan, they wanted to know if I was aware that they were the worst team on the grid.

To that I say, and this may be a gross generalization, but I believe science and general life experience shows a substantial difference in the amount of fucks given for cars between girls and boys...so I’m actually impressed the girls would get any cars at all.

There is no helping Syria, its already gone.

maybe you should sell your car and house to pay for those people first before judging a 70 year old man with a car collection. How about that?

He’ll be helping several when he hires them to restore his collection. Oh no, you want him to just give his money away. His money doesn’t disappear if he spends it on himself; it goes to others. Isn’t that all you’re asking for?

I can attest to it being a practical “first coupe”—I owned one as my first car. I’ve moved three times with it, having thrown small furniture in that hatch. The plastic is so prone to scratching that it’s bound to happen anyway, so once you get over that annoyance, you will be shocked at how much stuff you can fit in

Not sure what you mean by “doles;” typo, maybe? I don’t mind far-fetching combat antics (that scene in Kingsmen where all the redneck shit-bags start murdering each other in church is a guilty pleasure,) and while I agree watching Vin Diesel dole fists out toe-to-toe with Dwayne Johnson can get tiring after a while,

Or it is a fictional movie that is from a comic book. And damn it, as a woman I need this. So go somewhere else and nitpick a James Bond movie or something.

That’s a G IV. Came out in 1985.

Well, “Cold War” is a little stretched, since it generally went up to 1989 ... the pictured E34 touring is a ‘92 model (touring introduced 9/91, E36 mirrors on E34 came 9/92). In addition, it has white turn signals, which were standard only on M5 models. Police cars never would have had them retrofitted.

I’m sorry but I just can’t suspend my disbelief that much to buy that a woman can take out men twice her weight. That’s why even among men there are weight classes. It’s about weight and muscle mass...it’s just not possible.

That’s how you do a fucking movie trailer. Theron & Goodman [he’s grossly underrated] could be the Fred & Ginger of hardcore [raunchy?] action flicks. If they don’t fuck up the chemistry.

Now playing

Here’s a better trailer without all that apocalyptic music.

From the WD-40 website -

Time for an Insurance Discount for all Manual transmissions....it’s the least annoying anti-theft device out there.

I had a knee jerk reaction to duck lower than my steering wheel as it happened but my hand still punched the window. I’m just happy I wasn’t moving faster haha. I would say this is one of, if not the scariest moment I’ve had in a car.

No such thing as an a-pillar airbag. That could just be wiring insulation, maybe leading to the side curtain airbag above the side window. In any case, it was not a side impact, so it wasn’t supposed to trigger.

Brodozer is in my internal dictionary now.

I'm sure the comparison's been made before, but this reminds me of the armoured vehicle built for the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. It's widely celebrated in Poland, the original being on display in the Polish Army Museum, while a replica is on exhibit in the Uprising Museum in Warsaw.
