It is bulletrpoof for its time. If you dont change transmission oil and filters it will fail around 200-250tkm. If you take care of it, it would do 400tkm. Many 10 years Volvos are near this kilometers. So your brand new Volvo could easilly givup changing gears after just 5 years...
