F is by far the best!

I agree with you completely! My problem is with the way he presents his way as the only valid way for games to progress. Also I think he's a bad writer, but that's not really as important a discussion.

Like I said, if it was just his work I wouldn't mind. I bought Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain because I was excited about what he was trying to do. What annoys me is when he makes statements to the effect that anyone not doing what he is doing is wrong and somehow holding back gaming. It's an insult to practically every

All you need to understand about David Cage is that rather than have 'New Game' be an option in the menu for Fahrenheit, he insisted on 'New Movie'. He then went on to insist that failure states are 'a failure of the game designer', despite the fact that his own games include a ton of them, and the parts that don't

Looks like it's well written, I'm in as soon as they replace Land. I refuse to buy anything drawn by him.

Yep. It was on Amazon for £35 and I knew it wouldn't be available for that at retail for a while so I put down an order yesterday.

I never played the DLCs, but the core game, bar the stupid puzzle box, was amazing. The art really kept me going, and as hard as it was, I felt like I'd mastered it by the end. The last two bosses didn't quite kill me, but felt like a real test of skill. Satan especially was really exciting, the way that it forced you

...Having said that, Olrox is one of the easier bosses once you know his gimmick, or at least one of the only ones I didn't have to try multiple times. He telegraphs his attacks quite nicely, so you can just outfight him once you know to destroy the coffins.

That is a goddamn solid game. I went back to it last year and completed it, but I can't describe how painful some of those bosses were. I get tense just thinking about it.

If it helps make him feel better, there are millions of much more embarrassing E3 moments every year. Peggle guy, Mr Caffeine, that entire Konami conference a few years ago, Riiiidge Racer, anything Microsoft does where people 'have fun' in the most forced way possible, the list goes on and on.

Where did we even land on all the broken embargo stuff?

You're right. I'm super excited for new languages! Shame we probably won't get Australian/English/Scottish accents to boot, but that's relatively minor. Also it would be a shame to throw out the current aliens straight away, given how fun they were to fight in EU, so an expansion is probably the right way to go. I'm

That's fair. I actually liked the ending anyway, you get a lot of strategic freedom in how to deal with them, but they still pose a unique threat.

Yesss, love for FFIX! The encounter rate is insane though, you're right. Totally worth it though.

Or snakes and ladders, except with no ladders and more snakes. Real snakes.

If you fuck with the Baz, you get the horns!

Oh wow I would buy so many FF9 figures if they were done like this. Goddamn.

I don't even understand how someone can paint like this. From up close to it the whole thing would look super distorted, it's amazing that everything has come out exactly perfect like that.

Did anyone watch Batman vs Deadpool afterward? They actually really sold me on the characters, it was great!

Thanks for the clarification, that's reassuring news =)
