Armageddon Express!

To this very day we still don’t even know who will make the jet engines for this new design.

Analog aircraft? It was fly-by-wire.

I hired in with Northrop in the late 1980's. First time I was in my manager’s office I noticed a 8"x10" picture frame on his wall. In that frame was a hand drawn whale that looked like a 10 year old kid drew it. Under the picture was written “The Whale.” No one thought to ask about it, we just all accepted it as a

Don’t forget these guys. They were far more effective than AH-64A Apache and MH-53J helicopters. Plus, they had a way cooler name, “Wild Weasels!”

An even bigger mystery that needs to be solved is, what happened to Manny’s cigarette? It just disappeared in the early 90’s.

The problem is, the cab drivers have a sense of entitlement to the whole driving people around in stinky cars with sticky floors and sticky door handles. The get angry when they find out how stupid they are for putting up with the huge costs involved in getting and operating their cabs. Uber comes along with a new

Crap, thanks. it was 2011.

My Thanksgiving dinner in Iraq, 2012.

Hey, more for my conspiracy-theory, theory. Here is a job posting for a systems engineer to support TRIDENT II launch test facility located on the Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake. Where is the NAWS located? North of Edwards AFB.

Okay, I smell a conspiracy, or just last night’s empty scotch bottles on the table I’m setting at. I was going to let this issue play out in hopes that the media would learn and report what really was launched and from where, but, it doesn’t seem to be going to happen.

It will be impossible to clean all those crevasses.

What, no mention of the missile that was air launched from over the Edwards AFB area? I just happened to be north of Edwards when the launch happened, so, unless the Edwards lake bed some how was filled with enough water to get a sub into it, or several thousand feet above it, some one needs to double check the facts.

If they had bought the VTOL option or the engine thrust vectoring option for the HUMMWV this would have never happened. Or trained the monkeys, er, drivers how lower the tire pressure. You know they can deflate and inflate the tires with a push of a button.

The F-22 won ONLY because it had thrust vectoring. Generals and other uninformed idiots like to buy things because they sound “cool.” Thrust vectoring, VTOL, intercooler, etc. But, in the end NG has made huge $$ of the F-22 program by providing most of its electronics.

All I can say is, thank God for the designers of these vehicles that saved the lives of so many fine Americans.

2nd Gear: The Bad News...

Opal Meriva. I’ve been renting one in Germany for the last two weeks. It will even cruse at 180 km/h.

C-RAM? you mean JOKE-RAM. I spent the last year living 100 yards from a C-RAM. Only good for mortar rounds, works about 50% of the time, that’s if the radar even picks up the incoming rounds at all. Never stopped the 107mm rockets.

Step 1: Invent a technology. Air bags, Intermittent wipers, 3 point seat belts, ABS, auto locking doors, OBD interface, center console food warmer that ensures to-go fast food remains at a proper temperature to eliminate deadly bacteria growth, etc.
