To be fair, I’m sure everyone who was booing saw the team take a knee right before the anthem and assumed they were going to continue kneeling during the entirety of it.

This still has nothing to do with his players and entirely to promote himself and the Cowboys. This gesture was his attempt at pleasing both sides of his fanbase, while also giving the middle finger to the guy who both tried to create a competing football league and told the American people to stop going to NFL games.
Ron Gant. Hit a lot of bombs with him on Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball.
He’s still working for the Tigers. I met him once and can confirm he’s still the man.
I remember Chris Berman giving him the nickname Mark “Officer” Lemke
And, to be honest with you, I give it to you raw. I don’t know no other way to give it to you — raw and uncut, I always say that.
I think that take is a little too simplistic and cynical.
KD is a tremendously gifted basketball player who happens to be the embodiment of all millennial stereotypes: can’t handle criticism, wants the easy road to success, doesn’t eat at Applebee’s, etc.
Wait, you’re skimming through the “Weekly Best-Of Jamboroo” and you choose to look at the coach chopping blocks instead of Jim Tomsula’s life hack? You really need to reconsider your choices here.
Came here to say the same thing (without the humorous Pop reference). The “lighten up the schedule a little bit” hot take is either ill informed or just weak, considering the NBA just did exactly that.

Oh I’m always of the belief that most of what goes on behind the scenes with teams is either never known to the public or is not reported on its entirety. This is no different.
Another theory I’ll float out there: Kapernick has been contacted by certain teams, and he either isn’t interested in playing for them or his salary demands are too high.
The marketplace doesn’t define ethics so much as reflects it. Walmart is the largest retailer on earth and treats employees like crap.
Well nice of you to stereotype there, and I’ll just leave it at I don’t agree with that sentiment. And the owner of the Indians agrees with me. He would make the change if there was a monetary windfall resulting from a change.
FYI, the Wizards routinely rank in the bottom half of NBA franchise values despite being the #7 DMA in the country. One of the reasons is their weak identity in the market from their change to the Wizards and their ongoing change in logos.
Ehh the issue is more complicated than being reduced to a snarky one-liner. I personally agree that the logo is offensive and would personally like to see it changed, but I’m not sure the majority feels this way. And believe it or not, a billionaire owner of a team didn’t get to where he is in life because he has a…
