In a fashion — she will have an abortion anyhow, but will still time it to allow herself a chance to upset Dan. Anyway, feel compelled to cite the case where she covered for Selina early in the series.

As to the edit, I'm not sure net how many great lines there were, at least in comparison to past seasons, but these days, they amount to the only thing (as well as the characters as a whole, though more than one were badly treated) consistently there.

At the end of last season, Amy made a note to herself about saving her eggs or something & this season has been in one long funk. So, maybe not. OTOH, Amy would be the type to use it as a gotcha against Dan, let him sweat and THEN have an abortion.

on Veep, that would not be my first choice

Stray question: when Catherine goes into labor and Selina is of course concerned about other things, there is suddenly a serious expression on Richard's face & he apparently rushes away. Not quite sure what that was about. Is it just him getting into the moment and rushing to help? It seems like something might have

Not more on the flashbacks? Jonah and Richard playing video games?

Jonah of all people is being made sympathetic, including his basic joy at having sex and calling Richard about it. And, feeling uncomfortable being in a racist concert. Meanwhile, Selina tries to spin female genital cutting. A bit much even for her.

The show has given us some powerful Nacho moments this season. I'm honestly more interested in Kim. There were openings there. It was a choice.

We already saw that Kim has a dark side with her involvement in Jimmy scams and how that generally excited her.

If Kim was in her 40s, I would think it would be more of an issue that came up, since especially for a woman, that would be notably older and she would feel like she had less time than others to succeed. I can be wrong too but my take would be she had to work for her law degree etc. but she is in her 30s.

That was almost amusing to me. Like, lol, yeah, they did that.

Chuck is mentally ill after all.

It was nice to see Erin again and well she looked very cute here.

Dan saw himself on the screen in the cab and then called to say "I'm in."

Interesting idea though again him being vindictive like that doesn't really seem like Conan (he has bite but doesn't come off as so blatantly mean to guests) though maybe he's different than he was back in the day (when I regularly watched him).

Yes, it was mentioned that he's friends with Richard, which is telling — they can't really be truly friends if on some level Jonah was as soulless as the others. He's more of a man-boy that you feel sorry about and in this episode there were multiple places where he looked like a hurt boy.

Separate comment. The actual Tonight Show is Jimmy Fallon, who got in trouble for kissing up to Donald Trump. He's Mr. Nice. Stephen Colbert isn't vindictive either. Not sure about Jimmy Kimmel — more of a chance there I guess, but don't really watch him. That was a David Letterman move.

[Edited: I was curious about Catherine already giving birth since I thought the season began with a year passing since last season & it took time for her to conceive.

yeah but thought maybe it was referenced … any girlfriend would have a hard time competing with mom … I mean Selina
