Well I was being slightly sarcastic, I was even gonna say that I'm "that guy" also... I dont hang out in coffee shops. That being said I still think at the 10 inch cafe tables it might be pushing it to become an uninvited guest to your party of solitude.

So the author is "that guy". 'That guy' that sits at my table. Yeah you can take that empty chair anywhere you want, but no you cant sit at my 10 inch diameter cafe table.

I change my gawker password as often as possible! Aww, snap... yeah, i just went there. :)

When you get a bluray burner and are able to pirate bluray movies will you still buy the bluray copy later on? :)

This is a good idea for a re-use. You could mount some IR lights around the camera to light it up in the dark - noone would see them on.

You're more qualified than me... but your statements are contradictory. First you said that your engine only needs 30 seconds to warm up, and then you recommend a block heater. If the engine only needs 30 seconds, what is the point of the block heater.

I did this two weeks ago on a china teapot that I had which had a tiny hairline crack on it, and it dripped water out very slowly. I've only used it once since, but it did indeed work.

I have to agree. The new design looks clean, but you gotta default to the blog view... Its a blog! You guys made this change for the wrong reasons. You made the change to highlight articles you've written because you put alot of time into it. Its like if I owned a clothing store that sold designer clothes,

@mipakr: Ha, yeah I admittedly do this - just to walk from my door to my car sometimes - my girlfriend thinks my "ghetto boots" are hilarious. I do look around to make sure noone is watching.

I cant agree more with this article. I've been the loaner many times. This is exactly my policy now, if I'm not willing to lose it - I wont lend it. I've been burned too many times. The worst part that I've experienced, is when I've lent money ... never got paid back, and then the person avoids you because they

@ojzitro: My comment didnt tag correctly. Note above.

@ojzitro: Dont be a flaming jerk. All I was saying is that I mis-read the title of the article especially considering the irony that today is a holiday representing a man who is probably best known for the influence of a single speech... and his name was King. And just like the other commentor @Jesse Dee said, it

Great use for my Roomba. This is really stupid. And in addition to being completely impractical and dumb looking, the idea of sliding that chair thru the sand is like nails on a chaulkboard.

I'm really surprised that I am the first one mentioning this... I've never heard of "The Kings Speech", so when I read this article heading I assumed "The King" referred to Martin Luther King Jr.... especially considering that today is Martin Luther King day! ...And it was just a tad more impactful than this movie.

Its a funny chart. I agree with most other than the fact that the "is it for a legitimate business" section leads to no everytime. If you are just starting out on something it might actually be good for portfolio work. For example graphic design, photography, websites ... you can go and make a generic

Why does Lifehacker have this obsession with net neutrality? I get the points - but there are so many articles about it. Though its a geek topic, I wouldnt even say it even fits into LH's "productivity" underlying theme. Not to be a conspiracy theorist - but I almost wonder if they have a sponsor thats pushing it.

@cashmoney805: Bad boy is only $799 on Amazon ... I've been considering it heavily also

@cashmoney805: For the minor price diff ur better to get the T2i, a much newer model

@ForestFire0: I agree... IF you are an aspiring videographer for David Blaine or David Copperfield... "Watch carefully, this camera will NOT cut away". Lol.
