A few of these I might agree with you on, but you're making the same mistake as Brian did in the story about how stupid he thought an Apple tablet would be. You're thinking in terms of how the device is used now, and that's not the way game-changers work. If there's one thing that Apple obsesses about it's delivery

Just tried it out and I love the software. However I think I might have stumbled upon a bug. I was looking around to see if it was a known issue but couldn't find it or an area for bug submissions.

Now if they can just integrate this into Chrome. I like that it comes ready with a flash plug in, but both cores running at full blast for any flash video isn't ok.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Yeah I'd vouch for every point you made. I only ever use VLC for Handbrake or if there's something so remote that even Perian won't read. I've noticed VLC to be more unstable and buggy than Quicktime. That and its so well integrated into the OS that it seems like more work to try to avoid it.

@Mr. Bean: Careful. Posting "how is this news" gets the ban hammer swinging.

@FriedPeeps: Yeah, I didn't mean it would change the solution, but it isn't a bad thing to have Steven Hawking in your corner. Imagine having a conversation about whether or not the toilet paper goes over or under and then Steven Hawking rolls up and says, "no, you're right."

@Canoehead: It think this is probably it. It would allow them to test the waters with a new carrier or carriers and then more than likely start the rumor mill at full speed for the iPhone. That in turn would put pressure on AT&T to avoid the potential bleeding off of customers and at the same time would be the jab

@FriedPeeps: Maybe. But when people of influence start speaking out about things like this, that's when people start working toward finding a solution.

@dominar: This was when he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in August 2009.

@Grace G-Money Rosen: I didn't like when the gawker network switched to the gallery layout either. But I did figure out a way around it. Just remove the /gallery/ from the URL and voila.

@bwildrick: Probably a screening of a short film.

Those console gamers needed the Power Glove.

It's still way too early to call. You'll need more than 6 months of data. You also have to take into account the season in which these movies were released. If more movies are coming out closer together in the summer season when people will visit the theaters more frequently, they're probably going to be inclined to

I like the infinite scroll feature but I did notice that after a while of scrolling in chrome that the page will stop loading if it's using too much memory. I was looking for some option that removed the first couple of pages as you continue to scroll so that you really could have infinite scrolling, but I couldn't

I read that every video is obligated to use Sound System's "With a Spirit" for the audio track.

@georgie: I have this happen constantly, but mostly only in safari. It got so bad that I decided to move to firefox. It usually happened when trying to close a tab.

@Zootalor: A backup is made when you connect to iTunes, so whe you connect your new phone to your computer it should sync.

@rodrigotrigo: I see what you mean, but I think that they have to guage how effective their ad is going to be then. I think it says something if people are trying to find a way around you.
