Both Gerry Page and Dean Martin are excellent in the film but I think the strongest performance is given by Wendy Hiller as the other sister, Anna, perhaps because it's the quieter one. Her subdued reactions and subtle looks convey so much of who she is and the way the family history has always worked.

Good overview of the film but no mention of the awesome Gladys George as the off-key canary Panama? She steals every single moment she's in the picture and she delivers the big closing line. How she didn't end up with a supporting actress nomination is beyond me. Great film, if only they had cast someone else beside

Very cool and it looks like they have a decent mix of classic and more recent films but I'm hoping they either increase what's available or rotate with other titles. Hopefully they'll free up the classics starring some of their big Golden Age stars like Veronica Lake, Paulette Goddard, Claudette Colbert, Betty Hutton

For me it's always been Sarah Vaughn. People tell me she's a great interpretive singer, and I'll admit she had a fine voice, but she always seems fussy and affected to me too busy being into her own performance to entertain her listeners.

He had an impressive list of credits besides the Disney films and could be a charming leading man in films like Any Wednesday with Jane Fonda and he had a goofy appeal in all those Disneys and on that score I'm sorry to hear of his passing. The extreme fervently judgmental bible thumper he became in later years not so

I love Cate Blanchett but aside from occasional red hair I see nothing in her that reminds me of Lucille Ball or have I ever seen anything that would suggest that she was skillful at Lucy's brand of knockabout comedy. Ball herself said she wasn't a funny woman offstage but that she knew what funny was so perhaps if

David Ogden Stiers and Harry Morgan as Charles Emerson Winchester and Col. Sherman Potter respectively should be added to the list. They reinvigorated M*A*S*H when they came along.

Perhaps human kickball Edith might finally have the smallest ray of luck? Nah!!

So many classic lines, probably already in the comments.
I am not A Eunice Burns. I am THE Eunice Burns!
"I am Hugh." "You are me?" "No! I am Hugh!" Stop saying that!"
and so many others.

Garfield was such a tremendous actor and was right in his prime when he was blacklisted. He was always exceptional but the performances he gave after this in Force of Evil, Under My Skin, He Ran All the Way and the one I think is his absolute best in The Breaking Point are those of an artist entering his best years.

Saw him for the first time back in the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol in '84 as Scrooge's nephew Fred and have been delighted to see him turn up in so many things ever since. Hadn't known he was ill so this is so shocking and sad. A real loss to the performing world.

LOVED him in that! He and Linda Hunt looked like they were having a blast chewing the high grade ham. Fun movie.

Bette's chemistry with Bogie is better then with Brent but Bogart hated both his role and his performance of it in this considering it a stain on a thing of beauty.

My vote goes to Hey, Jude but only partially. The beginning is quite lovely but as soon as they get to the first na, na, na, na, na, na Hey Jude it sinks to a torturous level and I hit whatever button necessary to make it stop!

Those idiots obviously learned nothing from their near implosion a couple years ago when they tried to split DVD's and streaming into separate entities and caused no end of confusion since they shared no advance knowledge that they were doing it. It's a pay service why do the customers have to watch ads, which are

Not being a slasher movie fan what I remember her for is her dozens of appearances on panel shows like To Tell the Truth or Hollywood Squares. She was always relaxed and very charming. She also costarred in 1955 movie Queen Bee with Joan Crawford at her dragon lady peak. A different kind of horror movie.

Why? Just why? What is the point of remaking something that was pretty perfect for what it was to begin with? The cast is full of good actors but without Beatrice Straight or Zelda Rubenstein, to say nothing of JoBeth Williams, Craig T. Nelson or Heather O'Rourke, it's a waste of film. What the film makers rarely

I thought it was a terrific wrap up not leaving any loose strings of plot untended. I'm also glad it ended now, they had reached any semblance of a purpose to continue-not that that has stopped shows before.

I loved Forever. The premise was absurd but the cast really sold it. I liked Alana de la Garza well enough but the real chemistry was between Ioan Gruffudd and Judd Hirsch, they were just great at showing the unique bond between Henry and Abe. Also the supporting cast was aces. Donnie Keshawarz had a certain rumpled

Absolutely Finch was brilliant as Boldwood, you just ached for him. I love Alan Bates's work as Gabriel Oak as well, he didn't have the flashy opportunities that Boldwood provided but he communicated so much with subtle looks. Stamp did what he could with Sgt. Troy but the character is such a tool it would be tough to
