correction: I meant the Big Bang is just a theory.

I'm a Christian, and I know that hurricanes aren't divine messages and that global warming is true. Stop generalizing.

*happened.

Lol my HP printer has "apps."

Oral-B Triumph is still better, IMHO.

A lot of video editing software works on 32-bit as well. If you're doing video editing though, you use probably should have at least 4GB of RAM, which requires 64-bit.

Easy answer consists of two (maybe three) things:

Thank you so much. Superman has been one of my least favorite superheroes for years, and I really thought I was the only one who didn't like him. I really don't understand how people ook to a near-invincible alien as some sort of entertainment.

I was just thinking this the other day. This NEEDS to happen. At least just a Justice League movie with Nolan's contribution.

For music, I've surprisingly enjoyed Zune player the most, even though I don't own a Zune. It has a lot ways to organize and browse the music on my hard drive, and it has a lot of cool visual features.

That sounds like the ridiculous rigs Hollywood is capable of. Thanks!

I have two invites! Anyone interested?

I think my favorite is the moth head. The colors are so vivid!

When I'm capable of filming nice 1080p footage with my $700 DSLR, I find it hard to believe that professional cinema can stoop down to the same number of pixels. Granted, I'm ignoring the factor of image quality, but It just doesn't make sense for me. I mean, a TV show will only be show on an HD TV or something

I thought so too, until I saw Whitson's last post on this. I tried out SMPlayer and VLC side by side for a few weeks, and found that while VLC is a lot more streamlined and dependable, SMplayer has a lot of features I love, and almost need, such as bookmarking your spot and advanced subtitle control.

Compared to say, a RED camera, it's a HUGE difference.

it sounds soooo much simpler to just shell out $700 for a Rebel t2i...

Does this mean that in theaters, Capt. America and IM2 have frames of only 1920x1080? Wouldn't you be able to see a quality loss?

Built a computer when I was 14 with that graphics card! Still using it 3 years later to comment on this fantastic post! Building is a lot of work, but it's sooooo worth it afterwards. You know exactly how to diagnose all of your problems, and you get something really durable and cost-effective.

You do DoF for videos in post? How??
