Speaking of mixing up China and Japan, what was up with Mr Nakamura saying "I am not Kung-fu instructor"? Also, Kumiko's song at the end of the Miyazaki dream sequence didn't sound at all Japanese, and was completely out of place in what was otherwise a well-done spoof of Miyazaki's style.
