Real Myst is for the ipad (and steam it looks like), and I believe is a cleaned up port of the game (updated visuals). I haven't gotten too far in it yet (I did beat Myst back in the day), but it looks and plays like I remember.

The feeling you got when walking onto the island was amazing, and it has held up nicely as a puzzle game.

This would be my call after Fallout 2. Riven would be 3rd which, while not as revolutionary, was an improvement.
