Seems like this is probably a good thing, but it does feel a liiiiittle bit weird that their example justification is what if we want to misgender/deadname someone, and Fandom won’t let us.

This notion that you can take highly political situations and just opt out of making a political statement means you’re not being political is eyerolling. It doesn’t have to be a grand political statement. No one is arguing they should be putting out some sort of philosophical treatise or anything. But when you make a…
Seriously. Can’t a company make a game about overthrowing a fascist government in Not Cuba without people asking if there are any statements about the real world. Not Cuba isn’t even a real place. DUH!

It would do them no good to get involved in the current firestorm on CDPR’s behalf. It works in their interest to simply refund people and made CDPR pay out at some point. That said -both- Sony and Microsoft have done refunds on much smaller scales console wise for a good number of years now. It’s extremely rare…
That worries me too. If they come back with 2-3 very obscure games and backpedal after low sales I’m gonna be hella mad.
I’m not sure P4 is the best watermark to use for entering the PC market, given the amount of nostalgia people have for the game that they wouldn’t have for others...
UA3 also feels like a mobile game. It’s very repetitive but with a lot of characters to play as.
Every day this year, I’ve come to understand Nintendo’s decision to stay out of the competitive scene more and more.
For not being racist, ICE sure isn’t illegally holding very many fully legal citizens who are white.
Yep, there’s no excuse for this skin even being greenlit in the first place. It’s “in your face” obvious with the context!
They should have renamed it: War Criminal™
Any halfway-intelligent CEO should be. There are reasons why they do this with lawyers, and it’s because you need them to cover your ass from all the millions of ways that you might otherwise get it bitten. Although I’m sure that whatever gets decided at the July 1 meeting (if it happens) there will be an army of…
My guess is someone went directly to Twitch, or the incident occurred behind the velvet rope at a Twitch event.
At the risk of putting two and two together, the guy famously cheated on his wife and the past week has seen a lot of streamers being accused of sexual assault and harassment, so my hunch is there may have been more accusations levelled against him to Twitch.
Bioshock Infinite was literally my other choice. I hate that game so much. Theres a voice recording where somebody calls daisy fitzroy a ‘catankerous negress’. i put down the game and never picked it up again
And completely unavailable anywhere. Neat!
TwinGalaxies doesn’t allow emulators, and the evidence that it was emulated is pretty clear. I doubt they reinstate. Guinness reinstating was just a way to cheaply settle lawsuits over something that doesn’t actually matter to them.
That’s what’s bugging me about this. Guinness seems to be undervaluing the actual emulator and prioritizing the eyewitness testimony, which from what I know is basically the exact opposite of what they should be doing
Check out GOG’s launcher. It still spins up Steam/Origin/etc. in the background when needed, but it consolidates your libraries for browsing/launching.
