Yeah, if it's in excellent or even good condition it should be at a mecum auction or something

You know, that price seems in line with its classic car value, atleast according to nada. I don’t fucking like the thing but someone does. I don’t know it’s trend, it might be in a pre popped bubble as its appeal is probably only for the baby boomer generation. I say np
I wouldn't pay more than $1000 for that. It is so tired and nothing very special about it.
This is exactly what I was thinking
I find your lack of faith disturbing
KILL IT WITH FIRE
More amazing than someone who spent money on this transformation are the 7 people who voted nice pipe on this.
Jizz in my pants
I second that. Started on a first gen sv650. They are a legitamate motorcycle so you don’t feel like wimp riding it. The owner base is massive and there is a lot of info on them all over the interwebs. Plus with a few mods they are quite capable race bikes.
Sure, it has the reliability of a ‘60s lawnmower, but who cares? It’s a German car with a big engine and a manual transmission. Your arguments are invalid.
Well, motorcycles will never be autonomous, so atleast there's that.
Plus they are front wheel drive, wtf Chevy!!
Malibus used to be just a step below the chevelle and made good power out of a v8. Now they are just beigemobiles. It's unamerican

As a fellow motorcyclist this is exactly what any serious rider faces and thinks about every time we get on our steed. Near misses are almost a daily occurance and situational awareness is…
While I agree that bikes offer the best bang for the buck for performance, that's a whole nother bag of potatoes. One I would happily challenge you on.
That's the winner
I'd talk him down, I bought mine ('02) for $6k. Over payed a bit but it was clean.
Is the effect like engine braking? For example: on my sv1000 (two wheeled thing) when let off gas it quickly decelerates, more quickly at higher revs and then comes to a very slow crawl. Or, does electric regen act a bit differently. Just trying to see if there is common engine charectoristics between electric motors…
This is why I always start my ride telling myself not to do stupid things. It's a mantra.
I can tell you for a fact that a 540i, even without salvage title issues and a straight body, would only go for that much of it was in the most pristine condition. As in, you shouldn't need to sink any money into it for atleast 100k miles. This is too old and far too many things potentially wrong with it while also…
