Errm, the Star Wars Photoshopping kind of rips off said Stålenhag work and the AV Club makes no mention of it in this "We've Never Seen Anything Like This Ever!"-type article.

This is a cool idea but the elephant in the room here is that it's all a tad derivative of Simon Stålenhag's much-more-original "Tales from the Loop" concept art which was doing the rounds on the internet about a year ago (which I'm surprised AV didn't link to given the obvious shared concept). https://goo.gl/ftQQDm
