5-Alive was definitely a staple growing up. My mom would dilute it 2X from what was recommended and then we would dilute it again 2X with club soda.

Justin Long too…
I'd have to admit that most people I know named Thor are pretty awesome…. This guy, the nordic god, the Kon-Tiki dude… uh… that's pretty much it but definitely wins for quality if not quantity.
While Gross Point Blank is probably my favorite film on this list that I've seen, The Ice Storm is probably the best film. One of my first Criterion DVD purchases after watching the DVD on 'old school Netflix'.
Can we use this space to talk about the MST3K live "Watch Out for Snakes" secret showing for any of you who have caught it cause holy fuck that movie was hilarious and way better then Eegah!. SPOILER WARNINGS below for those who want to be surprised!!!
My only major complaint is the opening sequence… particularly the theme song… particularly the embellishment of "…really just relax…". But then I think, "hey, <insert disqus="" name="">, you should really just relax" and then proceed to not worry about it by engaging in said relaxation.
Sweetwater for the customer service… Guitar Center has lied to me about availability and screwed up the order way too many times.
Both great but I give the edge to S/T.
More like they extended the grooves from the 2 sections for the live setting. Still excellent with some new guitar-keyboard interplay if you can find a bootleg version from that tour….
That last Operators album was killer. I never really latched on to Divine Fits. I always felt like it sounded better on paper then in actuality. Also, I don't feel Brit was really into the project as Boeckner's songs are better.
While I still loved the album when it came out I did recognize that it was a step down from the last 2. But at that point, Wolf Parade was probably my favorite band so there were no complaints from me. And the subsequent tour allowed me to check them out live for the first time. I'd have to say that hearing the…
Well put apples! I was beginning to worry that the new album was not happening….
I love all Sunset Rubdown but I'd say that Dragonslayer is probably the album I listen to the least of the 3. I still go back for 'Idiot's Heart' and 'Dragon's Lair' as my favorites
Inconsistent character portrayal on Heroes? Shocking!!
I picked up The Chills Kaleidoscope World re-issue from Flying Nun. Man… Pink Frost is such an amazing song. What a solid album and the extras are great. I hear a lot of the chills influence in some of Sonic Youth's more melodic/clean catalog it's uncanny.
Love for King Gizzard needs no professional validation!!! I'm really happy that the Gizz decided to play the Lord of Lightning vs Balrog suite live in DC as it is my favorite of the 3 suites in the new album. I do have to admit that I laughed my ass off back in the spring when I first heard the final suite with the…
That flashback scene in The Hour of the Wolf on the rocks by the water though…. pretty intense.
I guarantee you will be revisiting those Broadcast albums for years to come if your tastes are anything like mine. The trio of albums Noise Made by People/Haha Sound/Tender Buttons is pretty hard to beat. I'd recommend tracking down the Unchanging Window/Chord Simple version on the Extended Play Two EP as well as…
I've had to transport strange or unusual instrumentation in my carry-on countless times and it's pretty much a crap-shoot as to whether you will be stopped by TSA or not. I was traveling last minute once to a partner company to run some thermal testing and quickly grabbed a bundle of thermocouples and 2-part epoxy…
Better in my opinion… great song! Went back and revisited Cabaret after hearing its great inclusion in Master of None's second season. While uneven, there's still some good songs on that album.
