When did the party of FDR become the party of Josef Stalin? I will vote Democrat till the day I die, but this HYPER-LEFTIST shit gotta go

A quick scan shows that is almost entirely white, middle-aged establishment artists. I only counted 6 that don’t fit into the category: Lisa Corinne Davis, Roberto Juarez, Dread Scott, Barbara Takenaga, Kara Walker and Jack Whitten. There may be more but I am not keen to do a big google.

I was disappointed that during the last article no one seems to have brought up Coco Fusco and what she wrote, as if a titan of the art world like herself, someone who laid the groundwork for institutional critiques, isn’t worth mentioning at all. Damn shame that a great artists voice is ignored when I bet most

Good for them.

Name me three black painters who had their work met with actual protests and calls to be blacklisted (pun not intended).

Here, I’ll make it easy and give you a freebie:

Chris Ofili, a member of the Young British Artists movement whose mixed-media piece The Holy Virgin Mary was met with protests and condemnation by

Reince should txt him to say, “Congratulations, I’ll pray for your child.”

Directed by David Cronenberg.

My money is on bad acting. Mostly by Emilia Clarke, who can’t act her way out of a paper bag.

I think all the military stuff is being handled by Jaime who is a seasoned commander along with the Tarly’s.

I can attest to this. It started for me at 40. Since turning 50, there’s been no stopping me.

One of my favourite Mark Kermode reviews (for Eat, Pray, Love) goes:

This just kept getting funnier and funnier until I was laughing so hard I cried.

“The harmony of overwhelming and collective murder”

The second I lay eyes on it I thought, “Big mistake. Big. Huge”.

Agree with all of this. Emilia is so disappointing. I figured she would improve with time. But she is arguably the most important character on the show and while the looks are great, the acting is so weak that it makes me root against her entirely. Somebody would have offed this woman a long time ago, she does not

Seriously, who likes the Sand Snakes? That whole plotline bores me to tears. At risk of sounding like a “book snob”, I found them to be much more interesting in the novels, and more fully fleshed out as characters. I’m not shedding a single tear that some of them have been killed.

Wait, you like the Sandsnakes? I always thought they were the weakest part of the show- very one note, weird dialogue (“but you need the bad pussy!”) that doesn’t flow like anyone else’s lines, a plot that makes very little sense (so the people of Dorne are just going to entirely abandon House Martell and allow
