And get fired from your job for absenteeism in the process?

Collins won’t save Roe. Her claims about precedent are empty. Here’s how this will play out. The candidate, whoever it is, will be asked their views on Roe. They will respond by saying that Roe is “Settled law,” or “The law of the land.” This will be good enough for Collins.

“But Schumer hasn’t been able to control a single facet of his party.”

Ok. Let me explain how this goes. Chuck Schumer makes that announcement. Every Democrat agrees with him. Zero Democrats vote for Trump’s SCOTUS pick.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that there are substantial variations in these estimates. This is undeniably, absolutely true. The entire affair is badly clouded by racism, with early estimates from the late 19th century lowballed deliberately to create the narrative that the land in the Americas was lying

You know, some people also didn’t like The Last Jedi because it’s a structurally questionable movie with some bad writing and underdeveloped (or underused) characters.

Well, I’m not sure I can think of a worse *name*, but I’m imagining a slogan like “Turn struggles to snuggles!” and I really think that should count for something.

the carbon-intensive spending preferences of elitist jerks like yourself.

“the most American car company in existence to fail.”

*turns AC to arctic.*

“then every Democratic Senator has to do whatever is physically in their power to stop it, even if that is fundamentally an un-winnable battle.”

The only thing that might stop it would be massive *public* protest. Because as far as within the chamber, Democrats hands are tied.

If every GOP senator votes to confirm,

It takes one GOP senator to stop this. Not any of the Democrats.

Of course they are. Why do you think games put loot in chests in the first place? Because opening a box when you don’t know what’s in it is *fun.*

I have no problem with the costume design or gorgeous visual aesthetics of the prequels. Granted, I think they were overly green-screened in general — you can sort of tell that nothing around the actors is real — but the aesthetics, taken in isolation, were always gorgeous. Lucas knows his way around special effects

I laughed out loud at “Ridley Teaches Typing.”

*MECHANICAL SCRAW*

Surely you aren’t saying that Valve — *VALVE* — would be so irresponsible as to poorly manage their platform?

I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

Stupid question:

The Phantom Menace is actually Good.
Ok, I’ll bite. Why? Why is it good?

Paying for goods and services already provided. Also, keep in mind that changing tax bases works out to changing revenue. If the average income in an area stays the same (adjusted for inflation), and costs grow faster than that in any particular, than budgets decrease.
