Seems like this website writes waaaay too much about Star Trek Discovery. 

How do you know the victim was wrong? OH wait, his color! That is it, he was wrong. Solved. 

How are the cops wrong here? A seatbelt violation is a perfect valid reason for a stop in places where it is a valid primary violation. They tried to get the guy out of the car. He rolled up the window and evidently started shooting at them through the windows. They very rightly all returned fire.

How does this happen? Because this guy was a criminal suspect that the cops were tailing hoping for a reason for a “stop and look”. The seatbelt violation evidently gave them that opportunity. Too bad he had an itchy trigger finger.

i tried giving it a chance, i’m really curious now that frakes is involved, but i turned it off less than 5 minutes in because i just can’t stand the crew.

I seriously hope Michael gets to cry a little and whisper some this season, the show could really use it.

All that needs to be done is simply remove the words “Star Trek” from Discovery. Then it’s just a sci-fi show that has some familiar themes. “Andromeda” feels more like Trek than Discovery. I hate to say it, but I’m glad it’s ending, it should have ended a few years ago.

I don’t like him and it’s for all of the reasons that you stated plus the fact that he gets basic things wrong too often. Why anyone takes him seriously will always be a mystery to me.

That was the most boring trailer I’ve seen in a long time. There’s almost no indication of a plot. Looks like it’s all CGI destruction with some fan service drizzled in.

I've tried to watch this a few times. The characters are all pieces of shit and it wasn't funny. 

I love this show, no matter how convoluted at times. The diverse characters, the performances, the imagery, the story lines are all so compelling and I really appreciate the show being produced and really hoping for much more from this universe.
