I agree wholeheartedly on those lingering shots of her. Get on with it - we get it already. As for zendaya herself, yeah poor casting. I just don’t get her popularity. She’s not particularly pretty, she’s not a great actor, she’s just... Her. 

I think everyone critizing this show needs to calm the f-down. It was enjoyable for people who didn’t watch the original anime. I tried to watch the anime after this live action version and couldn’t tolerate for 5 mins.  It was garbage.  Maybe because it was dated, I don't knoe but it was garbage. 

But that's standard. For rock formations most was all Jordan.  As an exam of a large practical set, the room where they spit on the table was real.  It was made for the movie. Again most of the movie was real.  Even the dragonfly vehicle was real prop

I dony think you what you’re talking about. Dune was filmed primarily on practical sets and outdoors.

I did some racing in my early years and i fully understand driving at the limit, dancing on the edge and not being able to brake at the limit being that the car would spin but some of the crashes seemed that the driver had just enough room after stabilizing the car out of the corner to brake.

Maybe it’s the camera angle but it certainly appeared that there was enough room and time to avoid some of the cars, Especially at the end of the twitter clip. It looked like they wanted to be bumper cars

For someone who never watched the original series, I thought this was pretty good. I watched it in one series but skipped through some of the back stories and the sex scenes because it didn’t add much to the plot.  One criticism would be to include more shots of the ein.  Such a cute little bugger 

In the end it doesn’t matter what anyone of us thinks. The look or ethnicity is the decision of filoni and Favreau. They obviously had an idea of what she should look like in the animated aand live action show.
