Reading the headline it could have been much, much worse. I thought he was talking about personal wealth, not office perks and holiday parties. Honestly, cut to perks and parties do suck. but if you have a job that pays well and provides good benefits, the "fun" stuff is not nearly as important.

Pratt is arguably the bigger star here.

Yeah, my view of Pratt is... mixed. But at the time they signed these contracts, he was arguably the biggest star in the world. He’d just had Guardians and the Lego Movie and was probably the most bankable actor on the planet. It’s not a surprise that he got a bigger payday than anyone else on that movie.

Did you even read the article? He did go to bat for her and it made a difference. And Chris Pratt was a much much bigger draw than Bryce. Still is. There is no reason he shouldn’t have been paid more than her.

Guys, can we stop pretending to be shocked when an MCU superstar and beloved TV actor gets paid more than some lady who was fifth-billed in The Help?

Why aren’t white people supposed to be talking about this? I’m really asking-I keep seeing allusions to this and I don’t understand why something that happened on the Oscars is off limits to white people, who are mainly the people who watch/attend the Oscars.
