This presumes that Google is not now, and never will become “shady fucks”. The premise is good, but not if the world’s biggest fox is in sole possession of the chicken coop.

The worry is that if they give this piece of ground to Google then their position would become unassailable. Honestly, I’m fine with allowing we the end users to decide how we want to deal with ads. I block the vast majority of them and engage in the cat-and-mouse game of dealing with anti-adblock software. Others,…
I hear ya but the FDA says the story is developing, so I assume the recall is very new. I don’t think your advice would have saved the dogs already dead
Prefacing this with I’m not a lawyer but I was curious a few years ago about what kind of civil action can be taken if someone did something to your dog. At least at that time in my state, Minnesota, dogs are simply considered property, so all you would be able to sue for is cost to replace the property, no punitive…
What a bunch of clowns.
My Ford Escape does. On my Jeep Wrangler, and my son’s Honda Civic, you have to push in the AC button to engage the compressor/condenser. When you do, the little green light comes on on the AC button.

I always, wondered why my A/C turned on when I hit the defrost button. Going back to Thermodynamics class in university and remembering the basics, this all makes sense now. Good to know!
Every single car does this automatically. It’s how defroster settings work.
And yet lifehacker somehow missed that trick. It only took me a couple minutes on google to figure it out, but it almost creates a deadname scavenger hunt while I try to figure out what Elliot Page used to be called.
“there’s never a reason to publish someone’s deadname in a story”
For how many people will that make a big difference? Or for that matter, how many people will know what the difference is?
That’s not a Venn diagram... or is the joke that those that thought it “was annoying lib bullshit” are a smaller group of bigots within the group of bigots? In which case... great joke...
FYI you drew it wrong (or more probably, chose an image you didnt understand) you hilarious fool. You cant even bigot right how do you even live?
Interesting. I had an induction stovetop in my last home and never experienced this. And in the reviews I’ve watched where they try to capture the supposed sound it just comes out sounding either like the low hum I was used to or electromagnetic interference in the mic. Was this a common experience/was it common…
according to the following link, induction is much more efficient than using gas as more of the energy used is transferred to the food which is the entire point.
I think a huge portion of the arguments in these comments comes down to people referring to electric stoves and induction stoves both as electric stoves. Electric (where electricity is used to heat up a coil) does suck, objectively. Induction (which is the “glass covered” stove you’re referring to) heats up the pan or…
I am also a gas stove hater. I never used one until I moved into my house two years ago. I find it cooks unevenly, and the air all around the burner I’m using gets extremely hot.
I don’t miss gas at all for many reasons:
I cook all the time and do not understand the love for Gas stoves.
