I think the twist in The Last of Us, Part II is brilliant. After the first game, there really isn’t that much new we can learn about Joel — he thinks of Ellie as a daughter, and will do anything to protect her. What do we get from more Joel other than more of that?

*sigh*

Sold 7 million copies, or 7 million players? There’s a big difference. I know the tweet text says 7 million copies sold, but the picture says 7 million tamers (players).

I don’t know, the game is already showing cutscenes whenever you start a boss fight. And there are NPCs that you can actually talk with, some of whom even hint at giving you more to do which might mean they actually plan on a quest system. I actually do think they are working towards making a story here, beyond the

Pretty sure the story is going to be about the same as Ark too, just find a random piece of writing and it adds 2 sentences to the lore. Could be wrong but thats what my take from what Im seeing will be.

They confirmed a roadmap will be released soon

I just want to know if story is coming.

Read that comment at least three times before I realized you didn’t say “11 year old Rust Cohle” and I was wondering how the hell the timeline could accommodate that. I’ll be back after I get another coffee.

How many Popeyes locations are open for breakfast? Is it just airport locations? This is the first time I’ve heard of Popeyes serving breakfast. It’s probably the reason why they’re so low on the list. If only a few locations serve breakfast, it doesn’t make sense to spend the money on developing a better sandwich.

Was that actually a corpse? I thought it was a dummy made with stuffed clothes. I don’t think the officers would have rushed over to the rink and left a body/crime scene unattended.

The Yellowjackets cast is terrific, but Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci working together was lightning in a bottle & the show will I fear struggle to replicate that energy without her

Jack Black should be just as mad as DeBose. My man has a Grammy for best metal performance and two additional nominations.

The Switch was formally announced in October 2016 and released in March 2017. By that logic a Feb/March announcement would see a release in July-Sept at the earliest. Once they announce the new thing sales of the Switch are going to flatline, so Nintendo probably wants to keep the time between announcement and release

That would be a nice end cap for the Switch for them to announce Switch 2 in March. I can’t believe it’s been 7 years already.

God help whoever makes a really GOOD joke at her expense.

That is exactly the movie it reminded me of as well.  I didn’t know much about it, but I always have a difficult time watching movies with zero likeable characters.  I mean, sure, he wins (?) but it didn’t exactly make me feel good for him or anyone else involved.

You might be right. I went into it blind as well, I think I may have seen something here about it, maybe. So I had no idea what it was about, which makes it better IMO. I was like ok rich kid poor kid love story thing, sure why not, then that shit took a turn. It even had a Usual Suspects thing to it at the end.

LOL I watched is Christmas weekend, it certainly is something, and not what I was expecting. And man that grave scene, when it first started I was thinking, is he gonna do what I think he is, then holy shit he did it I howled with laughter. That said I did actually like the movie, also side note does Barry Keoghan

Oh, I volunteered. I’m so twistedly fascinated by games like this.
