There’s probably some metric they go by that tracks what games and topics gets the most traffic, which determines what articles gets published. It’s the reason we get 50 CoD and Spider-Man articles and nothing on indie games.

I’m ready to dive in tonight. Wanted to wait until I was done with Spider-Man 2(which I didn’t even platinum yet), just so I can focus only on this.

Yeah, I get that. Remedy tends to have repetitive gameplay and Control is a much longer game from them, so it can definitely be felt there.

Sam Lake, Hideo Kojima, Suda 51, Yoko Taro, and Sam Barlow, just off the top my head, make game that I will 100% support until the day they retire. They brands of weirdness and audacity are what the game industry needs more of. Regardless, of what you might think of their games individually, at least they are trying

Except, that that’s not what OP was saying. They said they were generally interested in checking out the MGSV, until they read about Quiet and completely wrote off Kojima’s entire catalog(based on other things read/heard). Which fine, that is their right to do. But at the same time, without experiencing first-hand,

That is certainly an opinion, but it might change had you actually played his games. Regardless of his methodology and justification for some out-there ideas, his titles are technical marvels and quite ground breaking for the medium. I’m not defending the man, but to put down the games, their footprint on the industry
