Rez/Rez: Infinite. It’s made an appearance on every console generation since it originally was released. Also arguably, remains fresh and relevant, unlike the other music-based titles that came out at the same time and since.

A24 Presents...The Figure

Now make skins similar to those hard rubber LJN Wrestling Superstars toys from the 80's. Complete with utter lack of movement and realistic paint rub off as the match progresses.

Yeah it wasn’t clear to me until this episode, that this season is probably Part 1 and next season is Part 2. We’re building to a Mandalore civil war on one side and the formation/introduction to the First Order.

Naughty Dog will surprise everyone with an NFT MMO.

Oh jeez, that location hosts a lot of big events too(Dark Force Fest and Chiller to name a couple). I guess I won’t be going there any time soon...

But replace the charm of The Princess Bride, with the post-Whedon era-CW template.

I’m not surprised. I didn’t love the show, but I did like the characters. The show just got messier as it went along. I do wish they would have done at least a movie for D+ to wrap up the lingering plot threads left, but if the viewership isn’t there, I get not continuing.

I was going to make a “Chef” joke/reference, but I do agree with you. Also, I think knowing they have at least one more season to work with, season 3 will feel stretched out.

Personally, for Part 2, I would split it into two, 7 episode seasons. The split would be the first Ellie/Abby confrontation in the theater. Season 3 would hold a bulk of the flashbacks(they can do a whole episode just on the museum one alone).

Not sure they can “make you care about the characters.” You either do or you don’t. However, if you stopped playing early in the game as you say, then you really didn’t give the creators and the characters a chance to win you over. Fair, if you don’t want a story about characters other than Ellie and Joel, but that’s

I love the John Wick films, but I would be more interested if Chad and Keanu did a movie that wasn’t set in the JW-universe. Not that each sequel hasn’t delivered something new, I’d like to see what they would do, if they would make a period movie, or something in a completely different action sub-genre all

It’s like beating a dead Shimmer at this point.

I think that was a bit unfair of Druckmann. True there might not have been as a successful adaptation on the scale of TLoU, but there are plenty of genuinely good and accurate video game adaptations between film and television: Castlevania, Detective Pikachu, Sonic: The Hedghog, Arcane, the recent animated Mortal

The sequence was also to show the connection between Anna and Marlene and by extension, between Marlene and Ellie. Marlene has an emotional stake in this as well, but her decision is based on the chance they can save humanity.

Joel didn’t react to Ellie’s agency being robbed. He reacted to losing a daughter for a 2nd time. Joel has been robbing Ellie of her agency for the entire game/show: “If i take you, you have to follow MY rules.” It wasn’t until the very end, that he asked her if she wanted to go back(to Tommy), or continue. She

What trope are you talking about exactly? How she’s immune or that Ellie is the last hope for humanity? Here’s the thing about Joel’s decision, he may have also killed the person that can do anything with Ellie’s immunity.

We’re both in agreement, I just think Joel stopped caring about humanity the moment Sarah died. He told Ellie, even if there was a cure, he would relocate to a sheep farm and live out the rest of his life in isolation. He’s already turned his back on humanity.

Does it matter though? How she’s immune doesn’t influence anyone else’s motivations or actions. They all know she’s immune, the “how” is irrelevant. Even the flashback with Anna, was more to show her(Anna and/or Ellie’s) connection to Marlene.
