AMC might have the worst popcorn from any theater I’ve been to. You kind of have to drown it in their “butter” to distract you from the staleness.
I go back and forth on Wes, which one is the worst. He takes huge swings and not everything works for everyone. I think Deadly Friend, if you took out the violence would have been a pretty fun PG/PG-13 teen movie.
Taking Chappie off the table, did you see Demonic? It’s not just a bad movie, it’s ineptly made. It’s honestly amazing that the same man that produced the three previous movies, made a flat, Lifetime-looking movie, with a nonsensical plot.
You really can get everything at Walmart.
Only Blomkamp and Die Antwoord were dying for that.
I have to disagree with a lot of these picks. For me the worst of these directors:
I think it’s something more like “oh, there’s that thing again” and moves on with their lives. I am glad it isn’t another droid, human or alien species we’ve already seen in that “droid-smith” role. At least the diminutive size leads to a more interesting looking set design with the other characters being forced to…
Seriously, like devote all that energy into something else useful. I never cared that passionately for what someone else chooses to watch/play. I barely have time to watch/play everything in my own backlog.
That’s awesome. Even knowing how it’s done, is still impressive to look at in motion.
Your anti-Disney rants here alone, show that Mickey lives rent-free in your head more than he has his dick up some buttholes.
The food is only one of the reasons to visit an Alamo Drafthouse. I go primarily for the events, special screenings, and make my pilgrimage to Austin for Fantastic Fest annually. Naturally, if I want to watch a movie in IMAX, I’m not going there, but it’s my go to option for most indie movies or retrospective…
Yeah, if you view the full clip around the 0:22 mark, you can see how they did it, while someone is wheeling them around and they’re half out of it.
I think it’s an LCD panel that’s set very far back in the CRT display. The cosplayer is coming from in front of the panel through a black cloth, giving it the appearance of coming through the set itself. It’s a really cleaver design.
Until I watched the behind-the-scenes, I actually thought they shot in a real, closed down mall, or at least the wing of one.
I’m going to send them my psychiatrist bills.
There’s also probably some theft deterrent reasoning there. Audibly alerts anyone within earshot if someone is trying to run out with a cart full of groceries.
I don’t have a Woodman’s by me, but that floor gave me PTSD from Pathmark in the late 80's to early 90's. When I would tag along with my parents to go grocery shopping and ride the carts like a go-kart and hit those tiles and shake like a earthquake was happening.
Where is it $10 a pint? Last time I bought Ben and Jerry’s(probably late last September) it was $5.49 a pint. I am seeing a pint of ice cream from mom and pop parlors tend to run around $8 a pint in the central NJ area.
But is it okay if I tell the scouts how my horrible life decisions led me to buying a trunk full of their cookies in the hope that for a fleeting moment, the cookies shine a ray of light in my otherwise worthless existence?
