The golden rule isn’t really about being nice to people, its about not being shitty to people.
So the example given is for two different flights? Isn’t it rather like saying check prices from one company before you book with another company?
Dont even need to test.
From my personal experience, you double up on the studs, so its 16” or 24” O.C. on each side, essentially making it 8” or 12” O.C., and it will be, at the very least, as structural as a regular 2x4 wall (I’m an architect, not an engineer, but what I do know of the engineering, it should theoretically be stronger than…
If you’re living paycheck to paycheck, you’re already financially illiterate.
(see, I can be a generalizing jerk too!)
Lifehacker's daily deals do this to me — almost every day. :(
Just a heads up that this is probably a hard inquiry that is lowering your score when you ask. I used to work at a bank and we had no way of doing soft pulls. We actually had to run your credit. Also, they are putting themselves at risk by not having a signed credit app from you authorizing that pull.
Or, you could just pony up the $55/year for a membership and enjoy the entire store. If you really can't do the math to see why that's a deal, split it with your neighbor/roommate/whoever.
Not only that, but if your email is super cutesy or dorky or just weird you should consider getting a professional email as well.
On more than one occasion, I have found a price on one of the searches you listed above, then contacted the hotel directly and asked them to match it. They not only matched that price (allowing me the reward points) but twice I have received an extra goodie like a dinner voucher or spa credit.
GM is set to deploy a new system that won't let a driver shift out of park unless the front passengers are buckled in. The car will still turn on like normal, however.
"Yeah, so after a $300 tow, can you tell me what's wrong with it? Left me sitting high and dry at a rest stop." "Oh here's your problem, seatbelt sensor went out. Those things get a lot of wear and tear. Not covered by warranty, going to be $500."
"Here's your problem. See this support column? Looks like it was designed by a guy who learned calculus at a school which spent its money on a football stadium instead of a decent teacher."
I tried this at a Yankees game once, but found out that they don't let you bring your own bottles. And there was no way I was paying $12.00 for a bottle of breast milk inside.
Was the Jew larger or smaller than the Scout?
I second that. I even switched from using work's version of Chrome to a portable copy of Chromium so I can install extensions and change other settings they block in Chrome. Managed machines suck.
Can we get a list of which applications are available portable? Or maybe some portable alternatives if they exist? I am stuck with Windows at work on a managed machine. I used Rocket Dock portable on Windows XP, though the Windows 7 we got (finally) has made it mostly unnecessary.
Shave your arm pits. Hair traps odors, if you sweat a lot or generate a lot of odor taming that jungle under your arm will help.
