I think I’d take either of their places and still be happy. I’ve always only been straight, but for access to his cash and all the Tesla’s I can drive I think I could change.
I’m all for cheap harbor freight tools. Except for jacks and stands. Or basically anything holding up over my head what can easily kill me if it falls.
That was a typo. $8k was their offer. According to Black Book $13775 for clean trade. So they are way off. I’ve reached out to Tom though to see what he can do for me.
No deal. They wouldn’t budge from $9k for the Dakota. Which is insulting for a 2008 Laramie Quad Cab in pristine condition with only 60k miles.
Thanks. I’m sitting at the dealership right now. The salesman is busy doing the whole “I don’t know let me clear that with my manager” bit right now. We can’t agree on the value of my 2008 Dakota I’m trading in.
Yup, I’ve cross shopped it with all competitors. I prefer the Elantra. The Civic is a more sporty drive but that’s not all that I want out of the car. In the end the Elantra meets my criteria the best. To each their own. In my case it will be a good car for me to drive to work for a couple years and then give to my…
I think the sedan looks better than the hatch. I’m going to go buy a sport sedan today actually.
I just tried that. She responded, “What things?” I guess I’m not doing it right.
I get that from my daughter when I’m just standing still doing nothing.
Who said anything about Iowa drivers?
It’s like that down here in MO in I29 as well. But we have the added benefit of NE drivers going slow in the left lane at all times even without passing and then getting pissed off at you when you pass them on the right. Go the fuck back to Omaha you slow fucks, nobody asked you to come to Kansas City.
Wait a minute. Why was the plane allowed to be flown again after this without first backing up the cockpit voice recorder? You’d think that would be at the top of the to do list after a major fuckup like this happens.
Your seatbelt isn’t saving you when a multi-ton object traveling over 100mph careens into you.
This applies to your pets as well
Obligatory
True to a point. Those that are rich enough to not actually “do” anything also don’t bother visiting the dealership. They pay someone to do that for them.
A lot of the difference in price you mention could just be normal differences in price by location/region. I’m an avid #2 combo from McDonald’s orderer. I’m surprised at how much the price varies at different locations, even within the same city, before taxes.
Alright, I’ll stop complaining about the small chip I got in the windshield of my new Acadia Denali after only 200 miles.
They just want some indication that you have the money. Asking what you do is a more polite way of getting that answer. Honestly, most sales people would likely be just as happy with an answer of “I’m a drug dealer.” as compared to “I’m an executive at suchandsuch.”
