BMW has always been a strong engine builder but the last decade or so has brought them to new heights with DI twin turbo engines.

What that any car can go 300k on a stock engine and maintain excellent compression? No, that’s not common.

I’m very surprised he didn’t do an acidity test. Most of the tests are meh, but one of the most important traits of oil is it’s ability to resist acidification (commonly observed through it’s Total Base Number or TBN). 

Also, you drive a toyota tacoma. You should consider whether that has anything to do with it. 

A viscosity rating is a range, and each range is quite sizeable.

My only problem with the “updated meaning” is that the word uses deci- which retains a CURRENT meaning of “a tenth”

I’ll admit to once drifting off similarly. I don’t even have a good excuse, I was like ~20 years old, sober, etc. I didn’t even know it was sneaking up on me.

Decimated is when it’s 10% destroyed. Please use the word decimated correctly.

Don’t you see, that’s the sad part. No one (outside of those in the car) actually believed what went down.

I once was driving down 95 and had eaten something that wasn’t agreeing with my stomach. My stomach was getting bloated. I was driving a car with a bad alignment and couldn’t get my belt unbuckled with one hand.
