Honestly I like it as an all around car. sporty, all wheel drive for the snow belt and pretty solid power numbers. I never knew these things came with the V6. they are almost always 1.8T and convertible around me....that I have noticed I guess. I am sure I will see them everywhere now.

Even better. But let’s hope they are not the same nighmare as the 4.2 V8 chain guides and replacement requirements

Actually Yes, some states allow tires to extend past the wheel well other do not, some require bumper height to be a specif level other do not seem to care. Some allow higher output lights, others do not, some allow driving/fog lights others do not unless they were perhaps installed by the factory.

Generally it has been we cannot put the more efficient, cleaner running systems in place of what was put on at the factory. Honestly most of the older cars are driven so rarely it matter very little in the big scheme of things, but the other side of this is the push to not allow a hobbyist to actually repair there own

it seems to be state to state on road legality, but this one is not likely road legal in Cali.

The part that is missed is this suggests that the California standard is something all states want to abide. I can see portions of it being adopted and others voted out by various states, but even then Cali would just say its my way or the highway. You can’t do away with piecemeal until the one state that thinks they

let’s hope, Amazon is the market I would think this was made for. Rivian seems to have beat them to it. gotta wonder if they will offer the swappable extended range option to help quell the range concerns, if so it will beat Ford big time. They do not give a price or range, but the basis for this has a 400 mile range

This will be the reply from many.

I flew into Ontario quite a bit in the early 2000's, I will say that if that is the way it is now and you are saying it is worse, than it must have been much worse. Still All I ever hear about from my car culture friends in Cali is the crap the CARB is putting on people.

all the while we are still burying Nuclear waste in a mountain since the last Bus Era.

Score at home suggests those siding with the CARB are in the minority. so much for democracy I guess.

The Conti OWS tires are expensive, they suggest a responsible adult driven car as opposed to a Nitto Boy racer. it really does seem like a decent deal.

Strangely I actually agree with you on this. Most TT’s are usually convertibles, but with All wheel drive and an NA v6, it really is a nice little sporty thing. I would ask if the Water pump and timing belt were replaced and if not ask for have the average going rate of the VAG dealership taken off the price. (roughly

Nope, if he wants drop top and manual Miata is the more readily available at the moment.

Mercedes has a pretty good one. but yeah buy on the island. besides the miata if you want manual you will have slim pickins though. a 2010 Mustang GT convt. and a Bimmer. I think the Mustang if cared for is probably the more reliable deal sad to say though.

you would think it would have to be plastic made from plant based oils, like some of the parts under the hood that seem to attract tree rats.

careful, you are starting to make a case for gps and internal vehicle sensing systems to start to limit vehicle capabilities. if you don’t allow the massive number of stupid drivers out there to get speeding ticket how will we fund the police. they are being defunded everywhere else.

what exactly is Perforated vegan Leather? But whatever, i still think this is far more palatable and desirable with the battery exchange idea you are floating. price is close to a higher end half ton at the moment, but it really is too bad they could not make one that is swappable battery only for say 40K. Eliminate

it is a clean example with a fair amount of the required maintenance complete, or said to be. But man the miles and year kind of make it hard for me to bite. Not sure how I feel about adverting a car with the wheels it should have versus whatever they got in the garage when you show up either. If the gold wheels stay
