Well theoretically the messages were encrypted so I would think they'd put those protocols in place on a phone too. Remember, they have some of the most advanced tech in the world. I would think they'd have something that can send covert texts and have the ability to look like a normal everyday phone when not in use.

Okay, so the military raids Hydra and confiscates all the hard drives, equipment, etc. Okay… So… Then what? Coulson and his team breaks into the secure facility, takes out all the guards, packs up the gigantic stash of equipment so they can make sure to get what they need and then somehow shoot their way out and hope

I think it was his idea of what Simmons would say in that situation. Kind of trying to build a more realistic character. It would kind of defeat the purpose if she only said the things he wanted her to say. She has to be at least somewhat "Simmons-esque" if you will in order for him to comfort himself with something

He wasn't really upset. He just said something to the effect of "My secret identity is the black driver." It was a funny line though.

I wish it were Hawkeye too. I just want to see Renner on that show. It would be a cool excuse to bring him in for an episode or two. I guess it's better this way but I'm kind of sad we can't see Hawkeye on AoS. Oh well.

Oh yeah, that's what it was. It was just a stylistic callback. It was meant to put the idea in our heads that this character is a badass force to be reckoned with like Widow. It's almost a subliminal thing. We're supposed to see that and associate it with Black Widow in our heads, that's all. Happens all the time in

"E" was a little offensive, wasn't it?

I hardly think that's fair. She may not be the most fully-realized character but I wouldn't call her a Mary Sue. Now Bella from Twilight… THAT is a Mary Sue.

You might be surprised how many white people live in the far east. Not just ex-pats either. All kinds of people go there for many reasons. A lot of time it's for business opportunities. It's actually very believable.

Far from it, I would venture a guess. Although I was thinking it's because she's wearing more form-fitting clothing. Probably a push-up bra too. She looked pretty similar in that sweater vest so I'm not convinced there was a surgery.

I'd love to see a Steel show. It's been long enough since that Shaq abomination that people would accept a new Steel if it's good. I say set it in DC and tackle social issues like poverty, crime, etc. It could be great. And you could easily modify the origin not to include Supes as we've seen before.

Yes. And not in this continuity.

Well if it's Section 31 then Admiral Robocop has to be involved, and since he got to examine the cryogenic tech with Khan, that would mean Captain Cold is…

Although that was a mega-budget summer blockbuster and this is a weekly episodic on the CW.

Schwang wang wang.

And they've started already! We've already seen the first installments of the Barry's dad story, the Wells story, and the Reverse Flash story. The series is already playing out the arcs.

I agree about Gustin. Perfect casting in my opinion. I couldn't have asked for a better Flash. At first I thought he looked great, he had a strong chin and distinctive facial features, and then I saw he could act and I was in. I really dig this actor. He's quite good. Does he look exactly like the comic book Flash?

That's a bit shallow, don't you think?

You know, that's a good point. If you watch Katie Cassidy's other roles, Supernatural comes to mind, she's actually a very good actress. I think the problem with Laurel is writing. I don't fault the actress at all.
