I don’t think anyone can enjoy most of those early 3d games without nostalgia.

It would actually, since the existence of a theoretical “easy mode” would not mean you had to actually PLAY the game in the easy mode.
Not a difficult concept to grasp, tbh.
What does that have to do with anything? Hard games will always have people who try to beat them in harder ways. Having an easy mode wouldn’t do anything to either add or take away from that.
I’m going to be honest, I believe this change was not meant to reduce Tess’s standing in the show and more to do with explaining HOW the cordiceps in the show differ from the ones in the game in as scary and brutal a way possible. We already know that they don’t send out spores (this was done so characters didn’t have…
So, you just stopped after the intro because you didn’t like it? That seems a bit unfair. The intro accomplishes the two main things it sets out to do:
other than that I think the acting in the opening of the game is very poor.
This is a weirdly hateful article. You can describe what you like without sounding like a spiteful whiner.
Why is this article taking shots at Troy Baker’s performance? I understand you didn’t particularly like the game (or know when it was released) but you can’t be ignorant of Bakers Joel being one of the most acclaimed performances in any videogame. It seems somewhat spiteful to chirp on about the superior Pascal based…
“I’m going to brag about not playing one of the most critically acclaimed video games ever, defend that decision, then use that decision to color my review.”
HHH could only poke the bear so much, what with giving everyone their last names back, losing the Nickelodeon colors in NXT, treating secondary titles as more than backstage props, etc.
That’s pretty insulting to Strange Days.
Oh bullshit. The last dying breath of physical media on consoles notwithstanding, the vast majority of gamers give zero fucks. As the PC guys. If you’re one of the raving physical apologists who dedicate a room to thousands of games, enjoy, there’s a console for that. For everyone else, it’s not a loss.
Currently it is more like saving $250-$260. While the differences you mentioned may matter to YOU, they don’t for many.
Fallen Order works just fine on the Deck. You have to sign in through EA launcher on first launch and then it works as should everytime. I’ve heard experimental proton works better, but no complaints on a standard launch.
Separate from the Winter Sale, Square Enix also has quite a few games on sale for the next week or so. FF7R, Triangle Strategy, Valkyrie Elysium, Diofield, Nier Replicant, etc are all at or near 50% off, and lots of their back catalog is deeply discounted too. Plenty of other places like Epic and Fanatical are having…
After buying a PS5 and wishing I had more games to play I ended up purchasing a new Xbox series S along with gamepass & now I honestly feel like I have the best of both worlds. No the series S isn’t as powerful as my PS5 & some games it’s noticable BUT I’d say 80% of the games I’ve played it hasn’t been a big deal, in…
Gotta love when companies toss in quality of life improvements to their games. There’s no need for them to do it, like there is with fixing crashes or game breaking bugs, so it really is nice to see them go out of their way to improve the user’s experience
I guess I’ve been really lucky in regards to bugs? I’ve really only had weird pop-in and awkward load times, nothing game breaking. Honestly this is the most fun I’ve had with a pokemon game in a while now.
I was really hoping one of the things would be that they’re releasing a gamepass app for steamOS.
At this point? Where were you in the last 20 years? If anything, Hideo Kojima alone showed us how a script heavy, linear story can enrapture millions of gamers and non-gamers alike.
