Why cancel it? Move it to Texas...we’re going to be open 100% next week. No masks, nothing. (I just heard the news today).

my family is geographically dispersed and I use discord to keep in touch with my young adult children, we have a family discord channel, we do “family movie night” where I use screen share and my streaming services to share a movie for us to watch together... it’s a great tool for families.

Are people really spending 6-figures on an investment without getting an inspection done, or looking at blueprints?

Seriously, a four-year-old battery will not last like a new one. This is not remotely strange.

mesh wifi isn’t common in homes now, it definitely wasn’t in 2016

Also, isn’t the Ultimate Edition (PS5 and PS4 version) of Control one of the “free” games with PSN this month?

My parents were extremely anti-video game to the point where I didn’t own any game system growing up, with the sole exception of the original Gameboy I managed to beg my way into—but I was only permitted to play it during travel for vacations or holiday travel (so like 2-3 tmes a year for a few hours).

I think it’s probably a mix of several things:

So then they’re making another Assassins Creed game.

This is one of the games on my growing list of games that I really like, but have never finished, and have restarted a bunch of times. I have a Switch file going, but I haven’t touched it in months. I have a PC file at about the same place. Yikes.

Clearly I fear commitment.

I don’t have a problem starting games, I have a problem finishing them. FE 3 Houses, FFXV, FFVII: Remake, AC Valhalla, RDR2... all the sort of thing where picking things back up with a months or years old save game can be a challenge, but restarting will see me fizzling out as soon or sooner than before.

Cyberpunk 2077? Seems more like Daikatana 2077, am I right?

I got this game for free and I loved the opening segment with Ms. Marvel. Then the REAL game took over and it was so boring. Why wouldn’t they have just made a game with real missions and a story to progress through? Instead it’s a fancy loot shooter with a story slapped on after someone at Square realized they needed

Maybe they should have sold the single player more. Because the marketing I saw was all about multiplayer. Which I didn’t care for. But I figure I will try the game when it is cheaper. Because of Kamala Khan!

Seriously, some of those games not being 60fps and becoming 60fps, is huge. So huge. Some wonderful games that deserved to be seen as intended will now look great. As a PC gamer I’m stoked, last gen was underpowered and didn’t push the envelope much when it comes to cross platform games and ports. All this power could

The gamer bro who gets all pissed off about easy modes because it somehow tarnishes their own sense of superiority is indeed a special kind of toxic idiot.

Again, if they’re paid $60, what does it matter how someone else plays the game?

It’s a shame they couldn’t say “For each death threat, we’re delaying the game by another week.  What say you?”

There are two sides to this. There is the over-expectations of the gamers, but there’s also RAMPANT mismanagement at virtually every major studio/publisher. Why? Because the people in charge of them are only in it for the money. They don’t care about games. They don’t care about their employees. They don’t care about
