Yes.

FACT: You need to learn how to read reports.

Two for Tormund but NONE for Podrick? Fuck this shit!

What, and divert resources from WWE wrasslin'?

Plot twist: John Henry was in fact a four-foot-tall robot ninja butler the whole time!

But what about Godzooky???

(that's the joke)

Yeah, same with the comment about sidelining Ibis and Jacquel. They hadn't even been introduced before House On The Rock in the book.

It makes me wonder why my great-grandparents left Scotland to settle in Delaware.

Except that she was published and wasn't black.

I wouldn't say Platoon was "overly simplistic" about the war, it's just not what the movie's about. Or at least it's not the main focus. As far as showing the experience actually being a soldier over there, well, my dad always said it came as close as a movie could.

You're not my fucking mother!

What kind of money?

Yep, the missing diary pages about Coop being in the Black Lodge was supposed to be a plot point in Season 3 if the show hadn't been cancelled.

So basically, Hollywood.

Oh, there's still PLENTY of mind boggling incompetence to be had.
Edited to add: I'm not implying the director was involved with the scam. I think the movie was mostly done before the guy with the millions showed up. And I'm totally imagining this guy to be VM Varga now.

From the director's interviews, I'd say criminal intent. IIRC, an "investor" showed up out of the blue with the money and insisted on having it all be spent on the computer effects and named the "company" that would do them. So yeah, Money Laundering 101.

So this can sit there and collect dust while I use my PS4? Cool!

Best empty movie theater experience was when two friends and I went to see Unnecessary Roughness (I have no idea why). After 30 minutes, one friend left to go back to his car. He came back with a football and we proceeded to play catch in the theater for the rest of the movie.
