It’s Detroit, they probably can’t be too picky.

The people who read that as racist are probably themselves racist to make that connection.

Was that a typo?  You meant to say hideous.

Dolt, he didn’t want the association of that with his network 1980s TV show.

That looks like a picture of a tranny.

Or it’s that she’s a terrible actress.  Face it, the standards for TV acting in the 80s weren’t high.  After getting fired, her lack of acting ability is probably the reason for such a light resume of mostly bit parts and guest appearances which all trade on her Cosby Show association.

If you think her career is doing fine I’d hate to see what you consider failure.

Yes, pretty useful after the fact.

He would have, because the problem was the association of it with his wholesome, network TV show.  It was the 80s.  It’s easy to say now that it shouldn’t have been a big deal, but back then it was.

No, she’s full of shit - she’s just still mad about being fired, and sees an opportunity.

No, you didn’t feel it.

In the 80s the association of that with his wholesome show could have been bad.  If it happened today you’d have a point, but in the 80s, no.

What are you talking about?  She’s aged a lot.

Yeah, she’s full of it, though - she’s just mad at being axed all those years ago.  She didn’t suspect anything.  It’s easy to say after the fact that you knew all along.

His early standup was great.  I didn’t like The Cosby Show because it was like every other 80s sitcom - not funny.  No one ever suspected anything at the time, though, certainly not viewers - how could they?  Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

Yeah, sure you did.

She sees an opportunity to get back at him for being fired. That show sucked anyway, but Bonet is clearly an idiot.

“Moral Desserts” is a tad too obvious for them to use, I hope.

It’s his presence that would have hurt last season.  ...And yeah, I doubt anyone failed to see the setup of that accent, I was disappointed they felt the need to actually do the joke we all saw coming.

I hope not.  I hope The Good Place wouldn’t be that ham-fisted and cheeseball.  His Dark Materials is one of the worst series in the history of the world, and Pullman one of history’s worst writers.
