I said, this is the cheapest money anyone will ever give me. I pay it back as slow as I possibly can. Between my wife and I, we had $4,500 in higher interest student loan debt, we paid that back when the stock market got expensive this year.
Before renovation 45%, after renovation 7%.
I forgot solo was a thing different from a regular 401k. I had inquired about a small business 401k because a solo requires you to have no employees.
14 is legal? I didn't even know that.
I drilled the holes and screwed the boxes. I could NEVER wire fast enough or good enough to justify this. I was charged $25 per box, including supplies for the rest of the job. The discount for drilling and screwing ended up around $10 per box.
Student loans are crap. The interest rates on mine are reasonable but now the system is broken. Why the hell would an $85,000 loan cost more than $600 per month in this period of historically low interest rates? Under the terms of my student loans (2002-2006) debt payments would be $480 per month. 22 years, 3.75%…
Vanguard told me a few years ago solo 401k fees start at $5,000 a year.
I'm not switching to a card w/ a foreign transaction fee that high BUT if I didn't already have the Amex card, Double Cash would probably be a better option. Website + Acceptance Rate.
In a pinch I can use my Amex card internationally because the fee is 2% and so are the rewards.
I have a VW dealer near the airport. They don't mind keeping it for, I kid you not, TWO weeks. Also they shuttle me to the fregging airport.
When the car was new, I didn't even bother getting an oil change. I just asked em if I could park it there.
My Corolla is super reliable. It is missing some features that were available in many cars in the early 1980s. Will my anti-lock brake lights come on? Nope, cause it doesn't have anti-lock brakes. Will my rear disc brakes need new pads again? Nope, because it has useless drum brakes. Will my tape deck break? …
This isn't relevant at all. Only an idiot would compare this car to a Corolla. For the price of the Cobra he could have had Toyota Yaris *3. Yaris, it's a car.
Nah, they just hate you. My "Freedom" card is still MC. Discover has switched me back and forth. I highly recommend the Amex Fidelity card for people that spend less than 15,000 per year. For bigger spenders there are some slightly better cards with MUCH better websites.
I agree. The Freedom card was not quarterly when I got it. Now the name just serves as a reminder of what the card lacks.
Use:
Amex Fidelity- Best Rewards for me
C. Freedom Mastercard- Used to have good rewards, now just a backup for Amex. I JUST remembered I should have been using this card on Amazon this quarter. Damnit I hate what this card has become.
Capital One - Zero rewards but a very old card that I only use internationally
Don't…
LIES! My toyota corolla windows roll themselves down. Yes, the fix is cheap.
Yep, variable rate toll roads. This is similar in that providing an economic penalty for being late gives airlines an incentive to find a cheaper alternative when possible.
autotrader.com w/in 25 miles of my zipcode. Two were below $4,000 but the description indicated that they were not currently roadworthy. If you can find one for $1,500 these days, have at. You can scrap a vehicle for nearly $1,000.
Does rational choice theory fail or are the assumptions unrealistic in current society?
If you have the $4000 a banger costs these days, that's a sizeable down payment for a chevrolet spark. The banger, obviously, has the potential to be significantly cheaper. Or you know, you could have headgasket or transmission issues. You've got to balance that risk with the cost of a long contract. They're both…
