My favorite subset of YouTube videos is “Black Guys Listening to Rush for the First Time - Reaction Videos.”

I also left it unfinished, after defeating all the guardians or whatever. The game just seemed a little too aimless for me, and it very firmly hit on the “Map covered in things to complete” Ubisoft model, albeit in a more abstract sort of way.

I feel like a more appropriate headline would be “Does kawhi leonard want?”

And if you say that Rapinoe’s celebration was excessive given the circumstances, you are just dismissed as a joyless cynic, because of course in America there is no concept of nuance to a discussion.

This story has been a great reminder of why internet debate is often so awful.

I like this story because in a way it’s uniquely American. It’s about sporting excellence, pride in your accomplishments and not even pretending to understand the concept of moderation.

It’s syndicated; it aired this morning in one single place. In nearly all of the rest of the country it airs tonight. Dan knows this; all the writers know this, and I’m sure this was a decision discussed in their Slack. They just want to get to yell “NERDS!” at everyone who’s irritated with this.
