I actually haven’t the slightest idea how Miles Morales got his powers, so I agree with this sarcastic comment in a non-sarcastic way.

I hate to be that person...

Yes, the snark is strong in this one. Did you catch the comment implied in “Longer than this show has, probably”, insinuating that Discovery won’t last long?

Little Caesars is the worst pizza you can buy.

Bisexuality doesn’t mean a need to have sex with both genders, just an attraction to both. Monogamy is perfectly possible, just as two heterosexual people can be monogamous despite being attracted to people outside the marriage.

Do you think the black insignia badges on some of the guards were meant to be a hint of Section 31? (I would prefer not, because it’s waaay too early for that)

I’m not sure why you misquoted my review and also failed to read the rest of it, but okay, excellent point.

On one hand, I though the three episodes so far where all excellent and I’m willing to spend half a lunch/month on CBS for it. I guess they win this one.

On the contrary, the events of the prologue set everything in motion — the war, Burnham’s guilt, the other characters’ mistrust of her, Lorca’s interest in recruiting her. And two of Burnham’s Shenzhou crewmates, Saru and Kayla Detmer, are with her on Discovery.

Even better, Burnham reciting Alice is a deep Trek continuity nod. The fact that Amanda was fond of Lewis Carroll and read the Alice books to her offspring was established in The Animated Series: “Once Upon a Planet” by Len Janson & Chuck Menville, when Kirk expressed surprise that Spock was familiar with the

Hey guys I’m thinking of starting a band called “5 Seconds to AV Club,” before each song we pause for a few moments and mention how you could win an Xbox One X from Taco Bell.

There are no bigger experts on comedy than rappers based on every single skit I’ve ever heard on a rap album. Those are always so funny.

Whenever articles about Avatar pop up you always get a million comments saying “Who asked for this?” Which is always a little puzzling to me. Now don’t get me wrong, the first Avatar movie doesn’t really hold up, and is a bloated mess, but the WORLD. You really don’t think this is a world worth exploring more? There’s

I can’t wait. Also I can’t wait to go to Disney World and eat a bunch of shrooms and go Avatar Land. That’ll be my first sequel.

No one cares about the Avatar sequels. I know this because of all the people who keep mentioning how much they don’t care about them.

How about you respect her choice, AV Club?

30 commenters so far, most complaining, none doing what needed to be done. You’re welcome.

Why was that video instead of text? There was no commentary; it was just words on a screen. It means you can’t watch it on your phone or read it discreetly at work and it uses a shitton more data. And makes your computer run hotter.

The first three of those are just gimmes. I bet all three of those come up if you google “Best star trek episode”. “Shore Leave” is at least a weird choice. “The Devil in the Dark” was the best choice here, and it seemed like a genuine one, too.

I like the one that delivered a social statement like it was hitting you over the head with a mallet.
