You have to be followed by one of the mod to be permanently ungreyed on avclub. you’ll still be grey on the other sites, gizmodo, jalop, etc.

I’m just going through and “starring” people’s comments that are in the grays. I’m in the grays and I’ve gleaned that getting stars might get you out. Any help would be appreciated!
