@bobmighty: Who said I wasn't able to take it? All you did was use a tired cliche to equate typo with inventing words, and then you called me "beardie" in a childish, taunting context.

@bobmighty: Stop acting like a 13-year-old trying to pick a fight.

@bobmighty: Yes, obviously it whipped me into such a fervor that I could not be bothered to take a second glance while clicking "share." And I'm obviously horribly embarrassed that I repeated a word - which is, to be fair, much worse than thinking that the word "comeuppance" is the same as "uppings."

@bobmighty: Wow, an overused insult! Clearly you feel strongly about a person's right to say "uppings."

@das7002: And hey, Verizon isn't going to create its own features to lock up and disable on phones!

@D.LYTE: Only thing I ever use with bluetooth is my PS3 controller. I'd use a headset too, but online gamers seem to be universally racist homophobic asshole 14-year-olds. And the headsets are too much of a pain in the ass to get out and turn on before I miss the call - not to mention most people look like assholes

Sounds nice right now, but I get the feeling that this is going to sound ridiculous in a decade or so.

@mikegriffin: I wouldn't throw around the "stupid" word while inventing your own variation of comeuppance.

Kids these days and their fancy phones. We didn't have phones like this when I was your age, assuming "you" are at least a few days younger than me. Also assuming this just came out a few days ago, otherwise adjust age gap accordingly.

I'm a little surprised this article didn't even mention the one thing that was maintained and made it possible to recognize these logos: color.

@reuthermonkey: Did people really say that Windows Mobile was a license to print money? As I remember, most people didn't use smartphones, and if they did, it was between Palm, Blackberry and Windows. Windows wasn't first, they weren't the top.

@OgilvyTheAstronomer: It isn't risky. This is a little bit of press office sleight of hand. Watch over here, where Ballmer pretends to sweat about Windows! Don't look over there, where Ballmer is actually legitimately worried about the phone.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: @General Disarray: Windows 2000 was more of an ancestor to XP than ME. And aside from not having many drivers for consumer stuff, 2000 was pretty solid.

Ballmer is only calling the new version of Windows a risk because he's trying to give the subconscious impression that their only risk is Windows - not, say, Windows Phone 7. See, he's saying he isn't staying awake at night worrying about the phone. It's such an obvious hit and just another successful stab into

@fastactingrelief: No idea, but you're kinda limited to the notes they give you in the game anyway. And considering that the game seems to only give you the right hand parts, there probably isn't much need to do a larger jump than two octaves.

If it replaces those ugly blue screens with white scrolling text, and the "watch it again in slow motion" clips, I won't complain.

@Syntax Error: To be fair, it's my actual real name that I got when I was born.

@irishfighter: I believe there was some mention of being able to share apps on a couple of computers that you own. Presumably, that would mean you'd sign in to the app store with the same id on both machines. But I'm not sure about the details.
