@l337_7r4d3r: Thanks for the input. I've built a couple PCs for others; just no time/money for me haha.

@KamWrex: ahhh. I see. Ok yeah don't take one of those blades in to be sharpened haha.
I'm a typically content fellow. I don't find my joy in possessions or situations. Rather, I remain content with my life and if things are getting rocky I look to all the blessings I have: a wife and healthy, fun kids, an apartment, food, 2 vehicles, a phone, computer, etc...My apartment isn't huge; doesn't matter. My…
@shkm: did you get it sharpened first thing? Even out of the box most straight razors need a sharpening, or at least a "straightening" for optimal shaving. Any knife and tool store should be able to do it; just make sure they're using extremely fine grain stones.
@Navin R Johnson: Excellent comment. I love slow cooking meats. You almost always get a lot more meat for a lot less price. Pot roast with carrots, potatoes, onion, and button mushrooms with guinness as the liquid is amazing.
@battra92: I could be wrong but I think they're ok; or at least a "it's up to you" kind of thing. I believe only vegans avoid all animal products. Since a chicken doesn't have to die to lay eggs they're fair game.
This game is amazing. I played it for about an hour yesterday haha.
@Maave: That's a good idea!
@Arbron: I do respect how $44 essentially buys 2 pairs of shoes though. That's the point of Tom's after all.
@Arbron: I often find New Balance's for less than $44 at places like Dicks Sporting Goods, Olympia, Foot Locker, etc...you just have to get the ones that are last season's style. It's really not too tough to do.
@Wes: Oh good call on staples! I totally forgot about their
Hi LHers. It's been a while since I posted in a Friday thread.
@MichaelPalin: Because your 2002 console doesn't provide the same, or better, service as it did then. You can't play Halo REACH or Red Dead on a PS2 or Xbox. The price goes down because the product itself is devalued.
Do I get Robo-Nixon?
This post reminds me a lot of the philosophy over at nerdfitness. [www.nerdfitness.com]
@Nasdaf: It's not because you'll crash the plane; it's because typically takeoffs and landings are the most turbulent parts of air travel. The FAA doesn't want your iPad getting loose and either hitting someone or causing you to get out of your seat to get it.
I'll take asstits for 900!
@Whooped.D.Dew: You can turn that off in your notification settings.
@bg-dez: Will that cost anything for Gold Subscribers when the new dashboard rolls out to everyone?
I don't know if any LH editors will see this comment on this old article, but, I think it would be really interesting to re-do this piece with the new iphone and ipod. What with the new cameras, face time, and tiered data plans there have been a lot of changes.
