I know it's not audio that's technically "material related to a task" but when ever I am doing design or art for musicians I make a point to listen to their work while I'm working. I think it helps me get the feel for the album cover or poster. Also, just in my experience, it makes the first draft of anything more

I just really don't like how yahoo and hotmail force me to add @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com when I log in. I'm only on yahoo for a fantasy football league...but it's still annoying.

All I want to say is...

@battra92: how sad is it that work life has devolved into you being "happier" in a smaller, damper cube than your actual work cube?

Hey fellow 'hackers.

@shkm: Yeah, I thought about that right after I posted it...thanks though

@shkm: I tried to put 10.4 on my laptop yesterday. Everything seemed to install just fine. However, after the mandatory restart it wouldn't start up. The HDD also started making some very new noises (churning and whatnot). It won't boot from a live CD even (and yes, CD is selected as the primary boot) unless I remove

@jackdavinci: Someone in marketing made it work with her...

Haven't, and probably won't, played the game but I really like the art style of Shank. That stark, heavy outline, style really catches my eye. If there's one thing I wish I could do but just haven't been able to spend the time on it's drawing.

2 and 12 are winners in my book.

The outdoor theater is definitely something I want to do when I have a house. My current plan is to only renew my apartment lease once more then be house shopping!

I just fired up Mass Effect 2 again yesterday. I had bought it close to when it was released but only had an old 19" CRT television. If there's one game that was made for HD it was ME2. I'm not saying it looks amazing, in fact every red heavy scene looks pretty blotchy and non HD, but the pop ups, menus, HUD, and

@Eindacor_DS: That's the reason I'm thinking about getting it for the 360: just finding a way to play one of the greatest games that I've never even demo'ed. I've gotten really used to playing my 360 on my nice tv on the couch. My PC monitor is good and all...but it's not the same as lounging on the couch haha.

Is portal worth playing on the 360? Or should I download it over Steam on my PC? The reason I ask is my PC has a few too many years under its belt for much gaming now-a-days.

@shereni: nope, I just asked and it's good in store too. You just don't need a code.

@Zuzax: When living in MI the local Goodwill took in old electronics; even if they were clearly only good for recycling.

@amhranger: You know Maroney's is fake...he didn't get hurt doing the stunt.
