Shtick or no shtick - more of this guy please.
Good call on Esprit. Would love to have an S4 and did a lot of research. You can buy one, fix a few things, and drive it. But in my estimation, if you want peace of mind - or should I say confidence for longer trips - there’s a fair list of upgrades and possibly rebuild work. Unfortunately, they just didn’t have a lot…
I’m with Tav on this. The big picture message is: take advantage of depreciation if you have both the desire AND the means.
nice suggestion
DB9 prices are very attractive right now. If I wanted performance, I’d go M3 but if I wanted a classy GT with bark and bite - I’d be looking at these for sure. A great car to point out to people Mr T.
I have both and it’s been a drama-free experience (I did get my F355 with valve guides and cats done already). Not Honda cheap to maintain - but I spend less than Merc/BMW/Audi owners on maintenance.
Better headline (though less sensational) “An F355 is a great buy right now - do your research and get yourself a good one”.
