Can't wait. But treating the disabled as less than human won't end in my lifetime.

Loosely? It’s a TV show based on a book based on a memoir written by a jester/dwarf who’s obsessed with penis size.

Corden is an obnoxiously obsequious jackassed no talent twat. Craig Ferguson was gold and truly a good person (given his past) and Corden just turned the show into a tepid serving of humorless, flavorless mush. How the fuck is he worth $35million a yr? That has got to be a typo. He has no sincerity, shows no

I can see why HBO would be mad, but from a “spoilers” perspective, it’s based on a book 4 years ago. If you want to know what’s gonna happen, it’s widely available.

I just think it’s beneath all of us. It’s beneath you. It’s certainly beneath your publication.” is giving me real “So you agree. You think you’re really pretty” vibes, just proving that Corden is nothing but a mean girl.

Can I vote Monaco?

I’m content to know this dudes food is drenched in spit.

Or, he WAS bullied as a kid and became the bully as an adult. Also common!

I hope that McNally has been appropriately lambasted by his FOH managers, especially after this stupid, stupid interview from a clearly unrepentant asshole, and re-bans Corden from his restaurants.

the world’s phoniest, most obnoxious and overblown talk show host has thoughts on what’s beneath coverage in the NY Times, and shocker, it just so happens to cast him in a bad light LOL have we decided which country gets custody of him when he quits his job?

You have no talent, James. I have yet to meet a single real person who thinks you have talent (and I live in Britain!). Everyone who likes Gavin and Stacey likes it in spite of you, not because of you. Just be quiet.

*sigh*

It seems like perhaps his concept of what’s “beneath him” is the whole problem.

James Corden is what happens when the sniveling little shit nerd kid doesn’t get bullied in elementary school. It’s against the natural order.

Unless she was in danger of being homeless or had been physically threatened if she didn’t accept the Deal or No Deal job, she wasn’t forced.

I can understand being a bit icked but...as you said, the entire job of ‘model’ is basically to be objectified. And it’s not like other work that can give you the ick (like working in a slaughterhouse or recycling facility) where you do it because that’s what’s there. Modeling is something you have to work hard to get.

I mean, it seems pretty obvious what people are annoyed about, even if they’re erroneously denying the ‘objectification’ part.

I was only watching for the articles.

I mean, is there any debate about this? They’re thin, conventionally attractive women in short dresses whose only job was to hold briefcases for a television audience.

IIRC, they had 20 or so people whose job consisted solely of holding briefcases and maybe handing them to somebody when their number was called. They were all women. They were all physically attractive. They were all dressed the same. It’s pretty much a lesson in “how to objectify women.” Just because the women knew
